PARENT FINANCIAL AGREEMENT

Oct 02, 2026 07:08 AM

At Momentum Dance Center, we want our families to have a clear understanding of tuition, fees, payment expectations, and financial responsibilities. By enrolling a dancer at Momentum Dance Center, the parent/guardian agrees to the following financial policies.

1. TUITION

Tuition is based on the dancer's enrollment and reserved class placement, and not by the number of classes attended.

By registering for a class, I understand that I am financially responsible for the tuition associated with that class for the applicable enrollment period.

Tuition is due according to the payment schedule established by Momentum Dance Center.

Missing a class does not eliminate or reduce the tuition owed.

2. PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Monthly statements will be provided through the Studio Pro Parent Portal.

Tuition and other applicable charges are due by the stated due date on the account.

A late fee will be applied to accounts that are not paid by the designated late-payment date.

Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring their Studio Pro account and ensuring that payments are made on time.

3. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

Payments may be made through the Momentum Dance Center Parent Portal or by the payment methods approved by the studio.

If making an in-studio payment by cash or check:

Payments must be placed in an envelope.
The dancer's name should be clearly written on the envelope.
Payments should be placed in the designated tuition/payment box.
Payments should not be handed directly to instructors or dancers.
Payments given to another dancer, instructor, or staff member outside of the designated payment process may not be considered received until properly processed by the studio.

If paying by Venmo, the studio's designated account must be used and the dancer's name should be included with the payment to @Momentumdanceoh

4. LATE PAYMENTS

Accounts that remain unpaid after the designated due date may be subject to a late fee.

Continued failure to maintain a current account may result in restrictions on participation, including but not limited to classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, costume distribution, or other studio activities.

Momentum Dance Center reserves the right to require an account to be brought current before a dancer may participate in certain studio activities.

5. COSTUMES

Costume costs are separate from monthly tuition.

Parents/guardians are responsible for costume payments and deposits by the deadlines established by Momentum Dance Center.

Costumes, recital participation items, or other materials may not be distributed until the account is current and required payments have been received.

Once costume orders have been placed, deposits or payments may be non-refundable because the studio may have already committed funds to the costume vendor.

6. COMPETITION TEAM EXPENSES

For dancers participating in the Momentum Dance Center Company or competition team, parents/guardians understand that additional expenses may apply.

These may include:

Competition registration fees
Costumes
Choreography fees
Convention/workshop fees
Travel expenses
Hotel accommodations
Team apparel
Props
Shoes and required accessories
Other competition-related expenses

Competition fees and other team expenses are separate from regular tuition unless specifically stated otherwise.

Parents/guardians are responsible for payment by the deadlines communicated by Momentum Dance Center.

Once the studio has paid a competition, convention, vendor, or other third-party fee on behalf of a dancer, that amount may be non-refundable.

7. WITHDRAWAL FROM CLASSES

Parents/guardians must notify Momentum Dance Center according to the studio's established withdrawal policy if they wish to discontinue enrollment.

Simply stopping attendance does not constitute withdrawal and does not automatically cancel financial responsibility.

Tuition and other charges that have already become due remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

8. REFUNDS AND CREDITS

Unless otherwise specifically stated by Momentum Dance Center, tuition, registration fees, costume payments, competition fees, choreography fees, and other studio expenses are not automatically refundable.

If a refund or credit is approved, the amount and method of the refund or credit will be determined by Momentum Dance Center.

Fees paid to third-party vendors, competitions, conventions, or other organizations may not be refundable once payment has been submitted.

9. MISSED CLASSES & STUDIO CLOSURES

Tuition is not reduced because of individual missed classes, vacations, illness, or other absences.

If Momentum Dance Center must cancel a class, the studio will determine whether a make-up class, alternative arrangement, credit, or other solution is appropriate.

10. OUTSTANDING BALANCES

Parents/guardians remain financially responsible for all charges incurred on their account.

An outstanding balance may result in:

Late fees
Suspension of participation
Withholding of costumes or other studio items
Inability to register for additional classes
Inability to participate in performances or competitions
Referral of the account for further collection efforts, when appropriate

Momentum Dance Center reserves the right to take reasonable steps to collect unpaid balances.

11. PARENT/GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITY

The parent/guardian completing registration accepts responsibility for all financial obligations associated with the dancer's enrollment.

I understand that it is my responsibility to:

Monitor my Studio Pro account.
Review monthly statements.
Pay tuition and fees by their deadlines.
Maintain accurate contact and payment information.
Communicate with Momentum Dance Center regarding billing questions.
Understand the financial commitment associated with my dancer's enrollment.
12. COMMUNICATION REGARDING ACCOUNTS

Financial notices, statements, payment reminders, and other account-related communications may be sent through the Studio Pro Parent Portal, email, text message, or other communication methods designated by Momentum Dance Center.

Parents/guardians are responsible for reviewing communications and maintaining access to their Parent Portal account.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the Momentum Dance Center Parent Financial Agreement.

I understand that registering my dancer for classes creates a financial obligation according to the studio's tuition and fee policies.

I understand that it is my responsibility to ask questions about tuition, fees, payment deadlines, withdrawal policies, or other financial obligations before registering or enrolling my dancer.
