Fusion Dance Studio: Code of Conduct & Studio Policies
Welcome to Fusion Dance Studio! Our goal is to provide a safe, positive, and respectful environment for all our students, families, and staff. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, all participants and their families must agree to and abide by the following Code of Conduct and studio policies.
Student Code of Conduct
Respect: Students must show respect for all instructors, staff members, fellow dancers, and studio property at all times. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
Effort: Students are expected to come to class ready to learn and to give their best effort. This includes listening to and following instructions from the teacher.
Punctuality & Attendance: Students should arrive on time for class, dressed and ready to dance. Arriving late can disrupt the class and cause the dancer to miss important warm-ups, increasing the risk of injury.
Personal Responsibility: Students are responsible for their own belongings. Fusion Dance Studio is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Please leave valuables at home.
Dress Code: All students must adhere to the studio's dress code for each class. This includes proper footwear and attire. Dancers who are not dressed appropriately may not be permitted to participate in class for safety reasons.
No Food or Drink: With the exception of water bottles, no food or drinks are allowed inside the dance studios. Please keep all snacks and sugary drinks in the lobby area.
Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct
Positive Support: We encourage parents and guardians to be positive role models by demonstrating support for their child, other dancers, and the instructors.
Observation: Parents and guardians are not permitted to enter a dance studio while class is in session, unless invited by an instructor. This is to minimize distractions and ensure the safety of all dancers.
Communication: All questions or concerns should be directed to the studio's administrative staff. Do not interrupt an instructor during a class. We ask that you schedule a time to speak with them before or after class, or via email.
Child Supervision: Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children in the lobby and waiting areas.
Studio Property: Parents/guardians are responsible for any damage caused to studio property by their child.
General Studio Policies
Safety First: All dancers and visitors must follow all safety rules and instructions from staff.
Photography & Video: For the privacy and safety of all dancers, parents and guardians are strictly prohibited from taking photos or videos during class or rehearsals without the explicit permission of the instructor and the studio administration.
Bullying & Harassment: Fusion Dance Studio has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, and cyberbullying. Any such behavior will result in immediate consequences, including possible dismissal from the studio.
Cleanliness: Please help us keep the studio clean by picking up any trash and keeping the lobby and waiting areas tidy.
Consequences of Misconduct
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:
A verbal warning.
A meeting with the student, parent/guardian, and studio management.
Suspension from class or studio activities.
Dismissal from the studio without a refund.
By enrolling in Fusion Dance Studio, you agree to these policies and accept the consequences for any violations.
