1. CALENDAR: School year is August 17th through June 12th (TBD). There are no tuition adjustments for absences, but classes may be made up in another section or class.
2. COMMUNICATION: Email is the primary method of communication for school-wide information. I will read all emails, even if some of it does not pertain to my dancer(s).
3. ATTENDANCE: Class withdrawal requires a 30-day ADVANCE written notice, submitted to studentaccounts@dramatictruth.org. No withdrawals or dropped classes will be accepted after March 30th.
4. UNIFORMS: There is a required uniform and hair code for classes. The correct uniform must be purchased and worn in order to participate in class.
5. TUITION AND CLASS PARTICIPATION: Tuition is due upon registration and on the 1st of every month. Families are highly encouraged to enroll in auto-pay to avoid late fees. Families with outstanding tuition balances that are unpaid after the 7th of the month will not be permitted to participate in class until the full tuition balance is paid.
6. PAYMENT METHOD: Families may pay tuition by credit card, ACH, debit card, cash or check. A credit/debit card or bank account on file is required, regardless of monthly payment method. A 2.6% surcharge will be added to all credit card transactions, to cover those processing costs.
7. LATE FEES: Outstanding tuition must be paid by the 7th of the month. Tuition received after the 7th will incur a $20 late fee.
8. BALANCES: I authorize Dramatic Truth to charge any and all unpaid balances after the 7th of the month on my card, including incidental charges incurred throughout the month.
9. FINANCIAL POLICIES: I have read and agreed to the financial policies in the handbook.
10. WORK SCHOLARSHIPS: All work scholarships will be given out before August 31st, 2026. I understand that if I am interested I need to contact the administrative office to ask before then.
11. HANDBOOK: My family and I agree to abide by the handbook, understanding that not doing so may affect our family’s participation in the school.
12. MEDIA RELEASE: I give permission to Dramatic Truth to record classes, productions, and studio life involving myself and my family for promotions, documentaries, and digital transmission and to publish all Dramatic Truth activities, including digitized performance programs including programs with dancer’s name.
13. NEW - PERFORMANCE PARTICIPATION:
MYSTERY OF CHRISTMAS: I understand that all students enrolled in Ballet D and E are required to perform in The Mystery of Christmas (MOC). Ballet Levels A-C may participate by choice in MOC. All participating students must complete the MOC Commitment Form and submit it to the front desk by Friday, August 21 with a minimum down payment of $50.
Performance Fee: $100 - with $50 due August 21, $50 due November 1.
SPRING WORSHIP CONCERT: I understand that all Preparatory classes are required to participate in the Spring Worship Concert with their class.
Performance Fee: $45.00 for 1st child, $30.00 for each additional child - processed February 1. Costume Fee: Varies by class - processed March 13.
If my family is unable to participate in the above performances, a written notice must be submitted to studentaccounts@dramatictruth.org by the date below. Failure to submit a notice by the following dates will result in full payment of participation fees and costume fees (if applicable).

14. RELEASE: Illness, Accident, and Injury Release – I voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by any illness including COVID-19 by attending Dramatic Truth and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any and all injury, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability or expense of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s attendance at Dramatic Truth or participation in Dramatic Truth programming (“Claims”). On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Dramatic Truth, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Dramatic Truth, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether any illness occurs before, during, or after participation at Dramatic Truth.
