Thank you for choosing Central Arkansas Dance Center! We’re thrilled to have you as part of our dance family. This handbook will guide you through everything you need to know to help your dancer have a successful and joyful experience.

At CADC, we focus on developing strong technique, creativity, and a love of dance in a positive, structured environment. Our drop-off only model encourages independence while ensuring your child is cared for and guided by experienced professionals.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy
‘We Operate as a Drop-Off Studio’
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your dancer’s class. Please do not enter the studio doors until 5 minutes before your dancer’s class.


Dancers should arrive ready to dance (dressed and prepared).


Guardians are not permitted to stay inside the studio during classes unless due to medical reasons and approved by the director.


A staff member will be at the entrance to greet and supervise students.


Pick-Up
Pick up your dancer immediately after class ends.


If your dancer will be picked up late please call our studio phone and let us know.


If someone else will pick up your dancer, you must notify the studio in advance.



Dress Code
Appropriate attire helps dancers move comfortably and safely. Athletic clothes are expected. Jeans are prohibited. Proper dance shoes are required for dance classes.


Hair must be pulled back at all times.
No jewelry (stud earrings are okay), no loose clothing, and no gum during class.
It is recommended that all aerial silks students wear leggings or longer shorts for boys.

Code of Conduct
Students Should:
Arrive on time and be prepared


Treat instructors and classmates with kindness and respect


Listen quietly when instructions are being given


Keep hands to themselves and maintain a positive attitude


Refrain from running or loud talking in the studio


Parents/Guardians Should:
Support the studio’s policies and values


Respect the drop-off model and communicate through email or phone if needed


Encourage good attendance and punctuality


Direct any concerns to the studio director privately and respectfully
Studio Policies
Attendance: Consistent attendance is important. Please notify us if your dancer will be absent.


Make-Up Classes: May be available depending on class availability. Contact us to schedule. Make-up classes are not available for any notices given in less than 24 hours. Make-up classes have to be made up within a 2 week period.
Withdraw Policy: Email a written notice to the studio at least 10 days before the next billing cycle to avoid being billed to the next month. You will be billed until your withdrawal is officially received.


Illness: Please keep your child home if they are feeling unwell.
Skin Safety: Any open wounds, cuts, skin infections, or warts should be properly covered before class to prevent irritation and possible contamination.


Lost & Found: Unclaimed items will be donated monthly. Please label all belongings.
Inclement Weather Days: Will not be made up due to them being unforeseen events. We follow Conway Public School District for closures.
Free Trial Policy: We are happy to offer new students one free trial class with no commitment required. This gives dancers the chance to experience our classes and ensure it’s the right fit. If you decide to enroll after your trial, the class will then be applied toward your tuition, and you will be responsible for that class fee along with the remaining tuition for that month. If you choose not to enroll, the class remains free with no further obligation.

Tuition, Fees & Payments
Tuition is due promptly by the first week of each studio month.
If a payment is not made within 30 days, the student’s classes may be suspended.


A late fee of $25 will be added right after missed payment and a late fee of $15 will be added every week after.


For easy payment of tuition we can take a card at the front desk or you can pay online through Studio Pro.
No refunds are given for absences. However, your dancer may attend a makeup class within a 2 week period if notice of absence is given before 24 hours.

First Day of Classes: August 11, 2025


Holiday Breaks: Fall Break — October 13-17/ Thanksgiving Break — November 24-28 / Christmas Break — December 19-January 2 / Spring Break — March 23rd - 27th


Recital Date: Saturday, May 16th (Dance & Acro) / Saturday, May 23rd (Silks)

Picture Day: Saturday, April 18th
