I acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to enroll my child in dance-related activities offered by In His Steps Dance Company, operated by CreativeOne Productions, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “IHSDC”). I fully understand and accept that participation in any physical activity involves inherent risks, and I assume full responsibility for any such risks to my child.
In consideration of my child’s participation, I, on behalf of myself and my child, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless IHSDC, its owners, directors, instructors, staff, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, expenses, or judgments, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage sustained by my child in connection with participation in IHSDC programs or activities.
I understand and agree that IHSDC is not responsible for the supervision of my child or any other children in the common areas or surrounding premises outside of their scheduled classes, programs, or supervised events. I also acknowledge that IHSDC is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal property belonging to myself, my child, or anyone accompanying us on the premises.

Injury & Property Disclaimer: IHSDC is not liable for any injuries sustained on the premises or during classes, nor for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Consent for Media Use: By registering your child, you consent to the use of their likeness as outlined above. You acknowledge that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child being registered and have the authority to grant this permission.
Tuition & Payment Policy:
Sibling Discount: Families receive $10 off monthly tuition for one sibling, or $15 off total monthly tuition for two or more siblings. This discount applies per family account, not per student.
Automatic Payments: Auto-Pay is mandatory. A valid credit or debit card or ACH checking or Savings account must be kept on file. Tuition is automatically charged between on the 3rd of each month. If the primary card is declined, any additional card(s) on file may be charged.
Late Fees:
Tuition not paid by the 15th of the month will incur a $20 late fee. Your payment method on file will be charged for any outstanding balance along with the $20 late fee,
Past-Due Balances:
Any payment or credit will first be applied to outstanding balances before being applied to new charges.
Delinquent Account Policy:
All tuition and other fees must be paid in full by the end of each month. If an outstanding balance remains at the end of the month, the student may be dropped from their class roster and will not be permitted to attend or return to class until the account is brought current. Continued non-payment may result in the permanent loss of the student's spot in the class.
Returned Checks:
A $30 fee will be assessed for all returned checks.
Missed Classes:
Monthly tuition payments remain consistent throughout the year and are not prorated, adjusted, or refunded based on a student’s attendance or the number of classes held in any given month. While the number of classes may vary due to holidays, studio closures, or other scheduling considerations, tuition is based on an annual program divided into equal monthly payments. Some months may include fewer classes, while others may include additional activities such as dress rehearsals, recitals, extra practices, competitions, class pictures, or other studio-related events. These variations are factored into the overall program and are considered part of the comprehensive dance education experience. Over the course of the year, the schedule and fees are designed to average out.
Withdrawals:
To drop a class and stop future tuition charges, drop the class in your dance portal or notify studio staff before the 1st of the month by phone, email, or in person. No refunds will be issued for partial months.
Costumes Fees:
Students (except those in Acrobatics) will require 1–3 costumes per class to participate in studio recitals. Costumes average $100 each (significantly less for boys).
Costume Deposits:
A $75 deposit per costume ($25 for boys) is due by October 1st for the Christmas Recital and January 15th for the End-of-Year Recital. Remaining costume balances must be paid in full before costumes are released.
Recital Fee:
A $50 recital fee is due by May 31st for the End-of-Year Recital. This fee includes a recital T-shirt (with student name), a medal, and a professional video download.
Account Standing:
Students may not perform in the recital if their account balance is not paid in full prior to the event.
