Recreational Program Terms & Conditions

- The dance season runs from September to June and is a recital based program. I agree that upon registering I am committing to participate in The Dance Corps Year End performance.
- I understand that the tuition is based on 37 weeks of classes, spread over 10 equal amounts and split into 3 terms for payment.
- I understand that tuition payments are processed in 3 terms: Term 1 - payments 1,2,3 & 10. Term 2 - payments 4,5,6 and Term 3 - payments 7.8.9. I understand that payment is processed the 1st day of the first month of each term and once payment has been processed it is NON REFUNDABLE FOR THE ENTIRE TERM. Payment #10 is non-refundable. 15 days notice before the beginning of a term must be given in writing to The Dance Corps Inc via email in order to be withdrawn from the program. There is a $30.00 registration fee per child.
- The Dance Corps Inc accepts Pre-Authorized credit card as the only method of payment for the season. Any credit card payment declined by the bank will be charged a $10.00 service fee. I hereby authorize The Dance Corps Inc to process my credit card on file for all term fees, costume deposits, costume balances and any service fees for declined payments. There is a 2.9% service fee for all credit card transactions.
- I understand that all students registered at The Dance Corps Inc will require a costume to be purchased for the year end show ( one costume per class registered for). The full cost of the costume will be $130.00+hst. There will be a costume deposit of $85.00+hst processed November 1st and the balance of $50.00+hst processed May 1st.
- I understand that all costume payments are non-refundable once processed.
- I understand that in the event my child/ward has to miss class or inclement weather requires we close the studio there are no refunds. Make up classes may be available at the discretion of the teacher/studio director.
- I understand that all tuition fees, costume costs and correspondence are the responsibility of the parent/gaurdian whose signature appears on this form. The Dance Corps Inc will not split students payments between parents and it is the responsibility of the signing parent to forward all communication from the studio to the other parent.
- The Dance Corps Inc will communicate with its clients through email. I agree to make sure that the email address thedancecorps13@gmail.com has been marked as "not spam" in my email so as to ensure I receive all communications from The Dance Corps Inc.
- I understand that in the event that the Government mandate The Dance Corps Inc to close the studio space, all classes will continue online via Zoom in place of your in-studio classes. No refunds or credit will be offered for those who opt out of online classes. 15 days notice will be required to cancel any further term payments.
- I agree to allow The Dance Corps Inc to use any photos or video footage of my child/ward for promotional use.
- I understand that The Dance Corps Inc and its staff will not be held responsible for any injury that occurs on the premises or during any online class hosted by The Dance Corps Inc.
- I understand that The Dance Corps Inc is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property while on site.
- I will not knowingly send my child/ward to The Dance Corps Inc while showing any symptoms of Covid-19
- I certify that my child/ward is in good physical condition and is able to participate fully in this program. All current medical conditions requiring medication have been outlined on the registration form. I fully understand the inherent risk involved in the physical activity of dancing and therefore release The Dance Corps Inc and its staff from any liability in case of accident or injury while on the premises, in an online class or any premises under the control and supervision of The Dance Corps Inc.
- I understand these Terms & Conditions will be in effect for 12 months from my signing.
