SEASON:
The Fall Season begins in August & ends mid-May; Summer session runs during June & July.
All Performing Company & Academy Students perform in the Narnia production in May.
→ Company students please refer to Company Contract for additional season information.
CLASS PLACEMENT & ETIQUETTE:
Pre-ballet Students (PBI-Intro) are placed according to age. Technique students (Ballet I, II & III → {8yrs and up}) are placed according to training and ability.
Classes are limited to 12 students per class. (Excludes company level classes.)
Company classes are reserved for members of the Augusta Ballet Performing Company and are coordinated with the company’s rehearsal needs. When the company is moving closer to curtain, classes are shortened or even canceled to allow for more rehearsal time. Non-Company members may join a company level class upon this understanding, and by approval from the Office Manager.
ALL Students are asked to be ON TIME for class and dressed according to the dress code. If a student is running late, they are to wait at the door until the instructor directs them to enter.
A student not dressed appropriately and/or doesn’t have their hair in a bun may be asked to observe class and not participate.
DRESS CODE → Academy students:
Pre-Ballet: girls wear a white leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers.
Intro to Technique: girls wear a white leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers.
Ballet I-Ballet III and up: girls wear a black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers.
All boys wear a white t-shirt, black tights or pants with white socks (optional) and ballet slippers.
Girls' hair must be in a bun and pulled away from their face and off of their neck.
Skirts, tutus, & any color Leotards may be worn on the last class of each month.
TUITION & Company/Add’t (i.e. Narnia) FEES: PLEASE READ TUITION & FEES POLICIES THOROUGHLY
Tuition is calculated for the entire season and then divided into 10 equal monthly payments for Academy students (August-May). Tuition is NOT calculated on a per class basis and there are no tuition credits/prorated months given for classes missed due to illness, holidays, or ANY days the studio has been scheduled to be closed. (All class/rehearsal schedules are subject to change) For Summer Camps and Intensives you pay for the camps/classes that you will attend.
A $10 late fee is charged to all payments received after the 10th of the month. If a student attends a month of classes and no payment is made before the 1st of the next month then classes will be suspended for that student until a payment is received. If a payment is late a 2nd time (not made by the 10th of each month thereafter) classes will be suspended until payment is received.
Tuition payments are debited on the 1st of each month for all students (This excludes the Registration fee, first month and last month).
All Academy students pay a Production Fee of $100/student in February to perform in "Narnia".
Academy students: A withdrawal fee, equal to one month's tuition, is paid at the time of registration and is used to offset the cost for your student if you choose to withdraw before the end of the season. This fee is credited to May tuition if you do not withdraw early. Classes DO NOT END after Narnia.
*****LATE PICK UP: GRACE PERIOD OF 10 MINUTES TWO TIMES AND 15 MINUTES ONE TIME. AFTER THAT IT WILL BE $1 PER MINUTE PAYABLE BY THE PARENT TO THE STUDIO TO REIMBURSE THE STAFF MEMBER OR VOLUNTEER WHO STAYED TO ATTEND TO YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY.
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Makeup classes for Academy students:
If your child misses a class due to illness, they may take a makeup class another day at the same level or a level below. Please contact the office to schedule a makeup class.
There will be no makeup classes during the months of February and March due to in class rehearsals for the Narnia or on Parent days.
Refer to the Season Calendar throughout the season for dates that the studio closes for Holidays & any other scheduled times the studio will not have regularly scheduled classes. There are no makeup classes or tuition credits for these months that have days that we are scheduled to be closed; Tuition IS NOT calculated on a per class basis.
Promotional photos and injury incurred on CCB property (639 Furys Ferry Rd, Martinez,GA 30907 or any theater we are in for productions) applies to Academy, Campers and Company students:
I hereby □ GIVE □ DO NOT GIVE permission to AB to use any photo that includes my child for promotional purposes. I understand that with the increasing use of social media AB cannot be held responsible for videos taken and posted by a parent or friend of a dancer without the knowledge of our administrative staff.
***YOU WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO OPT OUT OF PHOTOS WHEN YOU REGISTER YOUR DANCER(S)***
I will not hold the Augusta Ballet or its staff (paid or volunteer) responsible for any injuries sustained to my child while participating in class/camp or in productions. If I am not available in the event my child(ren) needs medical attention, I hereby give permission to the staff of the Columbia County Ballet, or any competent medical authority, to render any necessary medical attention to my child.
