Pointe Taken Dance – Waiver of Liability & Policies

I, as the parent or legal guardian of the participant, understand that dance classes, rehearsals, and performances involve physical activity that may result in falls, injuries, or other unforeseen incidents. I agree that Pointe Taken Dance, including its owners, instructors, staff, and affiliates, are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur as a result of participation in these activities.
I further understand that Pointe Taken Dance is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. It is my responsibility to ensure that my child is in good health and physically able to participate in all dance activities.
Medical Treatment Authorization
In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize Pointe Taken Dance staff to obtain medical treatment for my child if necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any costs or expenses incurred for such treatment.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your enrolment, we require 30 days written notice via email to: emma@pointetaken.ca.
Tuition payments will continue to be processed during this 30-day notice period.
After the 30-day period, payments will stop, and no further charges will be made.
Refund Policy
Refunds will not be issued for missed classes, regardless of reason (including illness, vacations, or scheduling conflicts). No refunds will be provided for classes already attended.
In the event of a snow day or weather-related cancellation, Pointe Taken Dance will schedule a make-up class.
Behaviour Expectations
Unsafe behaviour could result in immediate removal from the program.
Bullying of any sort — including verbal, physical, or online — will not be tolerated. Any student engaging in bullying behaviour will be dismissed from the program.
