Competitive Members
(All policies above apply in addition to the following):
• Competitive costumes can cost up to $400 per costume, are often custom-made, and are the dancers’ to keep. Due to their
complexity and frequent use in performances, they must be durable and ornate.
• Costume deposits of $100 per routine are due by October 1st, 2025 and are non-refundable. Deposits for routines that may
not end up using a studio-provided costume will be credited back to your account before Showcase 2026.
• Competitive Team members pay a non-refundable $250 competition entry fee deposit at registration for the 2025-26 season.
If a dancer is placed in the Recreational program after the time of registration in the Competitive Program, the $250 may be
applied as a credit on your account.
• Placement in competitive classes is at the teacher’s discretion and may change until October 7th, 2025.
• Withdrawals from competitive classes on or before October 7th, 2025, may receive a refund on future classes (less a 10%
administrative fee). Costume deposits, competition deposits, and lesson fees up to/on the withdrawal date are non-refundable.
• Competition entry fees balance is due by November 12th, 2025. Late fees apply.
• Excessive class absence may result in being required to sit out of events/performances or, in some cases, removal from the
team without eligibility for a refund.
• Competitive team members agree to attend all events (Competitive Showcase, Competitions, Recitals, etc.). Exceptions for
injury (with medical note) or prior written notification before October 7th, 2025, may be considered. Failure to attend Studio
Events outlined in the 2025-26 Registration Package may result in removal from the competitive team without eligibility for a
refund.
