ACCENTZ DANCE STUDIO POLICIES
Welcome to Accentz Dance Studio! To ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all dancers, families, and staff, we ask that you review and adhere to the following studio policies.

1. REGISTRATION & TUITION
Registration Fee: A non-refundable annual registration fee is required upon enrollment.

Tuition Payments: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Late fees apply after the 10th.

Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit, e-transfer, and auto-pay.

Refunds: Tuition and fees are non-refundable, including missed classes.

2. ATTENDANCE & ABSENCES
Consistency is Key: Regular attendance is essential for progress and group choreography.

Absences: Please notify the studio in advance if your dancer will be absent.

Make-Up Classes: Available only if a similar class level is offered and space allows.

3. DRESS CODE
Proper Attire: Dancers must wear appropriate attire for their style (ballet, jazz, tap, etc.).

Hair: Hair must be neatly secured away from the face (bun for ballet).

Footwear: Correct shoes are mandatory for safety and technique.

No Jewelry: For safety reasons, no dangling jewelry or large accessories.

4. CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE
Respect: All students must be respectful to instructors, staff, and fellow dancers.

Focus: No gum, phones, or disruptive behavior in class.

Timeliness: Arrive early and be ready to begin on time.

5. STUDIO ETIQUETTE
Waiting Areas: Parents and siblings are welcome in the lobby but must remain quiet and respectful.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Please ensure timely drop-off and pick-up. Students are not supervised outside of class time.

Lost & Found: The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

No Smoking, Vaping or Alcohol permitted on the premises

6. COMMUNICATION
Email: All studio communication is done via email. Please ensure we have a current email on file.

Social Media: Follow our channels for updates and celebrations.

Questions: We are happy to address concerns by email or by scheduling an appointment.

7. RECITAL & PERFORMANCES
Commitment: Participation in the annual recital requires full-season attendance and rehearsal commitment.

Costumes: Costume fees are due mid-season and are non-refundable.

Tickets: Recital tickets will be available for purchase closer to showtime.

8. COMPETITION TEAM POLICIES (If applicable)
Attendance: Team dancers must attend all rehearsals, competitions, and mandatory events.

Conduct: Dancers represent Accentz and are expected to uphold a high standard of behavior.

Additional Fees: Competition entries, costumes, and travel expenses are the responsibility of each dancer.

9. HEALTH & SAFETY
Illness: Please stay home if feeling unwell. Zoom class options may be available during extended illness.

Injuries: Notify instructors of any injuries prior to class.

Emergency Contacts: Keep your dancer’s emergency information up to date.

10. PHOTO/VIDEO CONSENT
Media Usage: Unless otherwise specified in writing, photos and videos taken during classes and events may be used for promotional purposes.

11. WEATHER & CANCELLATIONS
Closures: Weather-related closures will be announced via email and social media.

Makeups: Weather cancellations may be made up if possible but are not guaranteed.

12. TERMINATION OF ENROLLMENT
Notice: A minimum of 30 days written notice is required to withdraw from a class.

Removal: The studio reserves the right to remove a student for repeated disruptive or unsafe behavior.
