TUITION, FEES, AND PAYMENTS
Tuition is based on a full season amount. This amount includes Studio observed holidays. Our season runs from July 29, 2024 - May 11 ,2025. For your convenience tuition is divided into 10 equal payments regardless of the number of classes per month. All families are required to have a credit card on file for automatic payments. Tuition payments are due on the first of every month and credit cards will be billed no earlier than the first of every month. There is a 3.5% credit/debit card convenience fee charged for all transactions. To avoid the fee you may pay by check no later than the 26th of the month prior to billing.
There will be a $15 fee for any declined credit card payments.
Payments received after the due date are subject to a late fee of $15 per month. Late fees will be automatically added to your account.
All accounts must have a valid credit/debit card on file, and you must choose automatic payments for your account.
In the event you would like to change the credit card on file please log in to your Portal or stop by the office.
Starz Dance School reserves the right to suspend students from participating in classes/events on accounts that are 60 days or more past due
There will be a $25 returned check fee for any checks not accepted by the bank for deposit.
REGISTRATION
Registration can be done online at www.starzdanceschool.com or in person at the studio during class times.
CLASS PLACEMENT
Class placement is determined by the Studio Director with the feedback from the students’ teachers.
DANCE EDUCATION TECHNIQUES
At times dance educators may give your dancer verbal or physical corrections in order for them to improve their skills. From time to time the educator may need to correct your dancer by lightly touching their arm, foot, leg, hip or back to correct their position.
DRESS CODE
Proper attire is always required for each class, this includes dancewear and shoes. Hair should be maintained pulled back and away from the face. No jewelry is allowed in the classrooms for the safe
ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance is important for many reasons. It facilitates a better learning experience and continued progress for everyone in the class. Regular attendance is a key element to successful choreography. Please email the office with any absent notices.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Starz Dance School does offer private lessons. In order to arrange one or more please speak with our Studio Director for more information.
RESCHEDULING AND SUBSTITUTION
SDS reserves the right to provide a substitute or replacement teacher as SDS may deem necessary.
SDS reserves the right to reschedule or combine classes.
Refunds are only issued when Starz cancels a class because of insufficient registration as determined by the studio.
LOST AND FOUND
Stars In Motion Dance School is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. SDS does maintain a lost and found. In the event you believe you have lost something at the studio please check at the front desk to see if we may have it in the lost and found.
CARE OF STUDENTS
All Parents/Guardians are responsible to make sure that their dancer enters to school. Do not drop them off in the parking lot. Parents/Guardians should make sure that their dancer is arrives promptly for class and is picked up promptly after class. Starz In Motion Dance School is not responsible to watch the students after class.
Refund and Withdrawal Policy
We encourage students and families to attend class for the entire season. This allows the students to experience consistency of learning and growth in dance as well as personal skills.
The studio does not issue refunds to enrolled students for classes missed due to illness, vacation, religious observance, or for any other reason. Any missed classes can be made up during the season prior to April 1, 2025.
If a student chooses to drop a class or withdraw from the program entirely, a withdrawal form must be completed, as tuition will continue to accumulate until the Withdrawal Form has been completed and signed. The changes become effective the first of the following month. In the event of withdrawal from the program, no refunds are given.
Breach of Contract
In the event of a dispute for breach of contract, the contractual liability of Starz In Motion Dance School shall not exceed the amount of one year's tuition.
Hold Harmless Agreement
I understand and acknowledge that dance and exercise classes involve physical movement and exertion. I represent that the registrant(s) named above are in good physical health and can perform the exercises and dances required for participation in the classes in which registrant(s) are enrolled. The undersigned, and all heirs, executors and assigns, waive all claims against Starz In Motion Dance School, its agents, servants and assigns, for personal injury sustained out of participation in any classes or other activities in connection with the enrollment in this school.
Parental Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to be aware of all studio activities such as performances, extra classes, and dates the studio is open or closed. The studio will post notices on the Information Board as well as email reminders to parents/guardians. Please check your email regularly.
Consent
In the event of an emergency or injury, Starz In Motion Dance School is authorized to notify me. If I cannot be reached in an emergency, I give permission to the staff of Starz In Motion Dance School to render all necessary aid and/or to act in my behalf to obtain emergency medical treatment for the registrant(s) listed above for any illness or injury that may occur while attending the school.
Release of Liability
As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless Starz In Motion Dance School, its owners, agents, servants and assigns from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control of Starz In Motion Dance School, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.
Agree to Follow the Policies and Regulations
I agree to follow and abide by the written Policies and Regulations of Starz In Motion Dance School currently in effect that are posted at www.starzdanceschool.com and in the waiting area at the school.
Photo Release
Starz In Motion Dance School is hereby granted permission to take photographs of the students to use in brochures, web sites, posters, advertisements, and other promotional materials the school creates. I understand the student's name may be used in conjunction with a picture for studio newsletters / programs only.
Agreement and Enrollment
I acknowledge by enrolling my child In Starz In Motion Dance School that I agree to all the terms and conditions set forth by the school. I agree to all of the aforementioned Terms and Conditions of enrollment at Starz In Motion Dance School.

I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read and understood it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.
