Registration Fee:
There is an annual dance season registration fee that will be charged at the time of registering for dance classes. Registration fees are non-refundable. Registration fee covers the cost of administration process.
Tuition & Billing:
Tuition is due the 1st day of every Month for the dance season. Tuition is calculated by class and divided throughout the dance season. Tuition is not based on the amount of days/holidays within a month.
Late Fee:
On the 10th day of every Month a late fee of $20 will be applied to accounts with a past due balance. Two months of unpaid tuition will result in automatic withdrawal. Please factor in when the studio is closed due to Holiday closures and pay tuition before the studio will be closed.
How to withdrawal from class?
Class withdrawal must be submitted to the studio office by email or form by the 20th of the month to un-enroll and cancel payment for the following month. No tuition refunds are given.
Inclement Weather:
In the case the studio must close due to inclement weather to keep our students and staff safe and off the road, please follow our social media outlets (facebook & Instagram) for updates!
Office hours:
During our dance season:
Mondays 3:00pm-8:00pm
Tuesdays 5:00pm-8:00pm
Wednesdays 4:00pm-7:30pm
Thursdays 3:00pm-8:00pm
During our Summer hours we do not have a set office schedule. Email is the best source of contact! (ssdcdance@yahoo.com)
Students missing class:
If a student misses 3 consecutive classes, they are considered withdrawn from the class. Communication is gold!! Please email or call the studio!
Studio in class rules for students:
No cell phone use (keep in your dance bag and on silent)
No toys nor stuff animals
No food or flavored drinks (only child proof water bottles are accepted)
No guests are allowed to sit or observe class
No guests, siblings, nor students are allowed to play in studio rooms
No bullying. Any fighting or putting hands on another student will be an immediate dismissal from the studio with no refund.
Custody:
The parent/guardian that registers the student is responsible for the student's financial commitment. Any costumes, information, or any items handed out will go to the responsible adult. If in the case that only certain individuals may pick the student up from class, we will need a custody agreement of file.
Costumes:
Students will be fitted for their costumes in late September and costumes will be delivered December-February! Parents/guardians will receive notice of costume cost prior to the due date. With the rising cost of inflation we can not say what cost for each costume will be BUT it is taken into serious consideration to be a reasonable cost. Each performing dance in the recital will have a costume. A student's costume will not be ordered until paid in full. Costumes will not be ordered after December 1st.
Monthly Newsletter:
A monthly newsletter will be sent out each month as the month begins. Please keep and read through them! Due dates, studio holiday closures, and important information is always in the newsletters.
Class Attire:
Class attire is listed in the class description. Dance attire is strictly enforced! Please prepare before your student's 1st day of class.
Program Fee:
Each student performing in our annual dance recital will be required to purchase and place an ad in our annual recital program. The ad must be a half page ad. We also have a contest for ad sellers! Information on the ad selling campaign will be sent out to all students in late Fall time.
Stage Fee:
Stage fee is based upon the number of dancers performing in our annual recital. This fee helps the studio provide theater rental, stage lighting, insurance coverage, and workers. Stage fee also includes the dancer's finale t-shirt and our annual SSDC recital pin.
