Rosie’s Dance Academy Uniform Policy
Rosie’s Dance Academy requires that all students be in uniform to participate in class. This enables the faculty to see the whole body for proper alignment and correction. If a student is not in uniform the teacher will give a verbal reminder. Three “out of uniform” occurrences will require a parent meeting with the director or school coordinator before the student can be admitted back in class.
For girls, the class uniform consists of a black or pink leotard, black, flesh tone, or pink tights
convertible tights, Canvas split sole ballet shoes died to their skin tone, with hair in a bun (or secured if too short for a bun). No Jewelry. Boys wear a white t-shirt, black gym shorts and ballet slippers.

Disciplinary Policy
If any student refuses to follow rules and regulations, the parent will be called and asked to speak to the student. After a constant issue of repeated behavior, we will have a parent conference and visit the vision of RDA and talk about if the dancer has the same vision.
Dancing is an athletic endeavor and therefore dance clothes become sweaty after use. Please keep your dance uniform clean; hygiene is important.
