SEASON 16 (2026–2027) PRIVACY POLICY & MEDIA CONSENT AGREEMENT
At Scenic City Dance, LLC (“SCD”), we are committed to maintaining the privacy, safety, and security of our students and families. By enrolling in Season 16 (2026–2027), you acknowledge and agree to the following privacy policies and terms.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Scenic City Dance may collect personal information including, but not limited to:
Parent/guardian names
Student names and birthdates
Contact information
Emergency contacts
Medical information or allergy information provided voluntarily
Payment and billing information
Attendance records and class enrollment details
This information is used solely for studio operations, communication, safety, billing, scheduling, and participation purposes.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Scenic City Dance will make reasonable efforts to protect personal information and will not knowingly sell or distribute personal information to outside parties unless required by law or necessary for studio operations, including payment processing platforms, registration software, competitions, conventions, or emergency medical situations.
PHOTO, VIDEO & SOCIAL MEDIA CONSENT
By enrolling at Scenic City Dance, you grant permission for Scenic City Dance, LLC to photograph, videotape, livestream, or otherwise capture the likeness, image, voice, choreography, or performance of students during classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, conventions, camps, workshops, or studio events.
You understand and agree that these materials may be used for:
Social media content
Advertising and marketing
Promotional materials
Website content
Printed materials
Studio displays
Livestreams or performance recordings
No compensation will be provided for the use of these images or recordings.
CLASSROOM & SECURITY MONITORING
For the safety and protection of students, families, staff, and property, Scenic City Dance reserves the right to utilize security cameras and video monitoring systems throughout the facility. These recordings remain the property of Scenic City Dance and may be reviewed when necessary for safety, security, disciplinary, or operational purposes.
STUDIO COMMUNICATION
By enrolling in Season 16, families consent to receiving communication from Scenic City Dance via:
Email
Text message
Parent portal notifications
Social media announcements
Mobile applications or communication platforms utilized by SCD
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to maintain updated contact information within their account.
LIMITATION OF PRIVACY
Scenic City Dance cannot guarantee complete privacy during public events, performances, competitions, conventions, or showcases where photography and videography by audience members or third parties may occur.
RELEASE OF CLAIMS
I hereby release and hold harmless Scenic City Dance, LLC, its owners, employees, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, demands, or liabilities related to the use of photography, video recordings, digital media, or personal information as outlined in this agreement.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy & Media Consent Agreement for the 2026–2027 Season 16 year at Scenic City Dance.
