IMPORTANT rules & INFORMATION
BASIC INFORMATION:
1. I fully understand that the STUDIO LOCATION does not have a viewing window or viewing device for any classes and I agree to send my child into the classes with their instructor, without a guardian. This
applies to all classes and age groups.
2. The hallway & entrance to the hallway need to be kept clear at all times. When overcrowding begins, it is extremely difficult for our instructors to see who is coming or going. We need to have a clear visual to
safely get each student to their parents.
3. Please make sure that your child has had adequate time to potty BEFORE their class time. Once
one student asks to potty, they all ask. We would spend our whole class time doing potty breaks. IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT POTTY TRAINED, you will need to stay close by incase we need to bring them to you to change. We do not have the extra staff to help with changing each child.
4. PLEASE use our lobby / parking lot as a peaceful and uplifting space. These are not the areas to cause
drama, gossip or actively recruit for other similar businesses. I’m all for screaming your praises but
please be mindful of others and respectful of our staff that puts in so many hours to ensure that your
child is learning and growing within our walls.
5. IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES , PLEASE NOTIFY KASSIE IMMEDIATELY - YOU MAY DO THIS BY CALL, TEXT, A WRITTEN FORM, ETC. WE CAN NOT FIX ANY ISSUES THAT WE ARE UNAWARE OF AND WE WANT EVERYONE TO HAVE THE MOST POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AT DW.
CLASS INFORMATION:
6. All dance shoes/ personal belongings need to be in a dance bag/ bookbag, labeled with students name or initials.
7. Students need to bring a water bottle to each class. Please make sure that their name or initials are
on these. WATER ONLY - no sugary drinks, as water is easier to clean if spills occur. We DO NOT have water fountains!
8. All students’ belongings (including cellphones) are to be placed in the assigned areas. Use
of cellphones, including facetime calls are not permitted during instructional class times. If you have an emergency , please call the front office. We will get this information to your child.
9. All classes will participate in the end of year recital, as well as, the Christmas showcase.
Please make sure your child is in the appropriate attire for the class they are enrolled in. Leotards/
athletic wear are permissible. NO JEANS OR DRESSES WITHOUT SHORTS UNDERNEATH. Hair needs to be pulled back into a ponytail or out of face for each class.
10. Dance classes have REQUIRED shoes. This is non negotiable and shoes should be brought to each class. Dance shoes are specific to color and style for each class and these are NOT INCLUDED in your tuition amount.
11. If you’re enrolled in a class that requires additional items (baton, pom poms, etc) , these items are not
included in your monthly tuition.
12. Make up classes are only offered if the studio must close, ie: weather or any unforeseen issue that
inhibits us from opening safely. If you choose to miss a class, ie: sickness, vacation, school sports ,etc. - a make up class or refund is not offered as the instructor still ran the class as scheduled.
13. All locations will close for Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and Spring break week. Dates for these can be found on the Important dates sheet. These weeks are not prorated as we figure in months with 5 weeks and do not charge additional amounts for those months.
14. ALL PARENTS MUST REGISTER THEIR CHILD THROUGH STUDIO PRO - THIS IS HOW ALL IMPORTANT CLASS INFORMATION WILL BE SENT OUT.

class roster.
18. ANY STUDENT THAT OWES THEIR REGULAR TUITION AMOUNT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ADDITIONAL / EXTRA EVENTS INCLUDING PRIVATE LESSONS.
19. We do not accept Credit Card payments at this time. We do accept cash, check and venmo payments. Venmo payments please do not select the option where a percentage is taken out. If you do select this option, you will be responsible for paying the remainder of that payment. All venmo payments need to include students name (first and last) in the notes section.
Any issues with venmo, you will have to contact Venmo. This is not something our staff can assist with.
20. There is a $35 fee for any returned checks. This amount will need to be added to your payment.
21. Costumes are an addition fee NOT INCLUDED in your monthly tuition. We have split these into 2
payment options for you but you can pay these in additional increments if you’d prefer. Costumes are
based per style and are REQUIRED for the end. of year recital. For example, Susie is enrolled in a balllet &
tap combo class AND a tumble class... she will have 3 costumes... 1 for ballet, 1 for tap and a recital
tshirt/bow for her tumble class.
