Terms and Conditions of enrollment

Hey Diamond Families!
We can't wait to have you join us in studio. Just before you do, please accept that you have read, fully understand, accept and agree to our terms of engagement as set out below.
ENROLMENTS
Class numbers are capped to ensure students quality tuition and progression as well as health and safety measures.
Classes commence on the first week of each school term and run for a minimum of 8 - 10 weeks at the the studios discretion.
Classes that fall on event dates such as show rehearsals, competitions, exams will not be refunded.
Classes which are missed due to sickness or other commitments are non refundable.
Students are automatically re-enrolled each term and written notice is required by week 2 of the relevant term if a student wishes to withdraw.
If a student does not provide written notice of withdrawal by week 2 of term, you acknowledge that full tuition fees apply.
Students must enrol online prior to attending any classes or trials
FEES
$130 + GST per 30 min class, per term
$140 + GST per 45 min class, per term
$150 + GST per 60 min class, per term
Multi class memberships available
Students who enroll mid term will be charged pro rata.
Payment methods: Cash or online Credit Card via the DSP portal.
Students with overdue fees will result in classes being suspended and your dancer will not be eligible to attend class until their fees are paid in full.
Any overdue accounts at the conclusion of each term will be referred to a third party collection agency.
ADDITIONAL FEES
Competition registration fees - for soloist and Troupe competition dancers.
Any additional bootcamp classes or private lessons held on weekends or during school holidays/out of term time are charged additionally.
Examination fees payable on Term 2 invoices.
Mid year show costume fees $60 max per costume.
End of year production costume fees $60 max per costume.
Registration Fee a one-off $20 registration/admin fee applies to all new families when they join Diamond Studios
UNIFORMS
Diamond Studios prides itself on high quality standards and presentation in all classes.
Uniforms are compulsory for all students across all classes.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
All public holidays are observed and accounted for in our fee structure.
COVID, ILLNESS AND ISOLATION POLICY
If any classes are cancelled due to Covid, lessons will be credited to students accounts.
Any student absences relating to Covid are treated as illness. No refunds or credits apply for absence due to illness (including Covid) or for Ministry of Health requirements to isolate.
MEMBERSHIPS
Our memberships have been carefully designed for multiclass students and align with our aim of providing all Diamond dancers with the opportunity to maximize their training potential and truely 'Find their Shine'.
Memberships may not be shared between dancers. Each must hold their own membership
Private lessons or classes missed will not roll over or accumulate.
Troupe classes are via audition acceptance only. This does not affect the price of the Emerald or Diamond Memberships.
In order for a student to hold an Emerald or Diamond membership, they must be enrolled and attend a minimum of 3 classes per week. These 3 classes do not include troupes, private lessons or academy training and must be in addition to these classes.
Limited Diamond memberships available.
COMPETITIVE
Soloists who train at Diamond Studios in competitive dance must enter under and represent Diamond Studios at competitive events
All competition work conceptualised and choreographed by a Diamond tutor, remains the intellectual property of Diamond Studios and may be reused at the studios discretion including, but not limited to solos, duos, trios and troupes.
Please note: The above does not apply to academic school dance groups and events.
PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY
Upon enrolment you agree that any photography or videography captured by Diamond Studios on the studio premises or at dance related events is the intellectual property of Diamond Studios NZ and may be used for marketing and promotional purposes including but not limited to: Social media, Diamond Studios website, Billboards etc.
CONDUCT
At Diamond we encourage students and families to form close knit friendships in a nurturing and encouraging environment.
We expect diamond families to remain respectful to staff and one another at all times. Any offensive or intimidating behavior will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from Diamond Studios.
While Diamond Studios takes cautious approaches to our method of teaching, dance by nature comes with risks of injury both in studio and when performing on stage. By enrolling at Diamond, you acknowledge that Diamond Studios tutors will not be held liable for injuries or associated costs should any occur.
