Policies and Information
1. Classroom Standards: Infinity Dance Academy values the commitment made to create a safe, fun, and encouraging atmosphere for all students to thrive. Students are expected to follow class dress code and behave in a respectful manner that is appropriate at all times. Questionable or inappropriate behavior by parents or students may result in the student being removed from the class or studio.
2. Tuition Payments: Tuition is charged monthly and is due on the 1st of the month. Payment made on the 10th of the month or later will be charged a 10% late fee. If an illness, holiday, or school/business closure causes you to have less than 4 classes in a full billing month, please feel free to inquire in the office if you would like to attend a make-up class.
Payment can be made 3 ways: by enrolling in Autopay, online with card, or by a check dropped off at the studio. Autopay processed on the 1st of the month. If payment is declined, it is up to the parent to pay the tuition through their parent portal, or update their card and notify the studio. When signing up for the season, you are commiting to dancing with us for the duration of that season (September - June). If a student needs to withdraw from the studio, a 30-Day notice is required and no refunds will be given for tuition already paid.
3. Recitals: There are two recitals per year (December and May/June). Students who desire to be in the recital must attend a minimum of 75% of their weekly classes. It is expected that students will participate in all rehearsals, picture days, and performances. Tickets for recitals will be available for purchase. All ticket sales are final, no refunds will be given. In an effort to ensure our recitals run smoothly, we expect parents to volunteer in the areas needed to support the event.
4. Picture Day: There will be two picture days per year (Fall and Spring). Participation is expected, even if you are not purchasing photos so that class photos involve all students. Printed and digital photos will be available for purchase.
5. Missed Classes and Make-Ups: Attendance is essential to your development as a dancer. When enrolling, students commit to their scheduled class time. It is the responsibility of the student to attend all lessons as scheduled.
Infinity does not issue refunds for missed classes. However students may make up missed classes with permission in another age appropriate class (this does not include private lessons).
6. Scheduled Closures: The studio will be closed for the following holiday breaks:
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Week
Spring Break (following Lynden School District)
Memorial Day
7. Winter Weather Closures: Infinity follows the Lynden School District in winter weather closures. If the studio must cancel classes due to inclement weather, parents will be notified by email.
