Missed Classes & Make-Up Policy
The Movement Studio (TMS) understands that students may occasionally miss class due to illness, vacations, school events, or personal scheduling conflicts. However, tuition is based on enrollment in a class, not attendance, and the following policy applies to all students.
No Refunds for Missed Classes: TMS does not offer refunds for classes a student is unable to attend.
No Make-Up Classes: Make-up classes are not offered for student absences due to vacations, illness, school events, personal commitments, or scheduling conflicts.
No Tuition Adjustments: Tuition will not be refunded, prorated, credited, or placed on hold due to missed classes. Your dancer’s spot in the class remains reserved regardless of attendance.
Consistency for All Dancers: This policy allows TMS to maintain consistent class sizes, plan appropriately for instruction, and provide a structured and positive learning environment for all dancers.
Studio Cancellations & Exceptions
In the event that TMS cancels a scheduled class due to circumstances such as inclement weather, an instructor emergency, studio closure, or another situation determined by the studio, TMS may provide a make-up class, credit, or other accommodation at the studio’s discretion.
