Studio Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Miss Mac Dance Studio. We are delighted to have you as part of our dance family. Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive and inspiring environment where every dancer can develop confidence, discipline and a love of dance.
By enrolling at Miss Mac Dance Studio, parents and guardians agree to the following terms and conditions.
Registration
An annual Registration Fee of £5 per dancer is payable when registering for each dance season.
An annual Insurance Fee of £10 per dancer is payable each January.
Registration secures your child’s place in their classes but does not guarantee a place in competition teams or special performances.
Monthly Tuition
Tuition fees are charged monthly and are payable on the 1st of each month.
Tuition reserves your child’s place in class, regardless of attendance.
If a dancer joins part-way through a month, the full month’s tuition is payable unless otherwise agreed by the studio.
A £5 late fee will automatically be added to accounts that remain unpaid 5 days after the due date.
Parents are responsible for ensuring payment details remain up to date.
Refund Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Insurance fees are non-refundable.
Tuition fees are non-refundable once paid.
Deposits paid towards competitions, costumes, workshops, camps or events are non-refundable.
Missed classes cannot be refunded or transferred.
Attendance
Please notify the studio if your child is unable to attend class.
Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure dancers progress safely and confidently.
If a dancer is unable to attend for an extended period due to illness or injury, please contact the studio to discuss available options.
Health & Safety
Dancers should arrive dressed appropriately for class.
Hair must be securely tied back.
Jewellery should not be worn unless required for medical reasons.
Please bring a labelled water bottle to every class.
Do not attend classes if suffering from a contagious illness.
Arrival & Collection
Please arrive promptly for classes.
Parents of younger dancers should remain until their child has entered the studio safely.
Children must be collected promptly at the end of each class.
Miss Mac Dance Studio cannot accept responsibility for children outside their scheduled class times.
Behaviour
We expect everyone to contribute to a positive atmosphere.
Parents and dancers agree to:
Treat teachers, staff, volunteers and fellow dancers with kindness and respect.
Use appropriate language at all times.
Support and encourage all dancers.
Raise any concerns directly with the studio rather than through social media or public forums.
Follow studio rules and instructions given by teachers.
Studio Property
Please respect the studio, equipment and facilities.
Parents are responsible for any deliberate damage caused by their child.
Competitions, Performances & Events
Participation in competitions, performances, examinations and showcases may involve additional costs.
These may include entry fees, costumes, uniforms, travel, accommodation or rehearsal fees.
Parents will always be informed in advance of any additional charges.
Class Cancellations
If the studio needs to cancel a class, a replacement class or suitable alternative will be offered where possible.
The studio reserves the right to change teachers, class times or timetables if required.
Photography & Media
Photographs and videos may be taken during classes, rehearsals, performances and events for use on the studio’s website, social media platforms and promotional material.
If you do not wish your child to appear in photographs or videos, you must notify the studio in writing before classes commence.
Personal Information
Parents are responsible for ensuring that all emergency contacts, medical information and contact details remain accurate and up to date through the Parent Portal.
Right to Refuse or Remove Enrolment
Miss Mac Dance Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrolment where behaviour, repeated non-payment, failure to follow studio policies or actions that negatively affect the studio community make continued membership inappropriate.
Agreement
By enrolling your child at Miss Mac Dance Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
