All tuition payments are prorated monthly to include all holidays and breaks.
Payment is due on the 1st of each month.
Late fees will be charged after 15 days.
Additional fees include; Performance participation fees, Audition fees, ticket fees, costume fees and competition fees.
- School Performances are mandatory for professional program students & optional for recreational program students
Attendance: parents must report their dancers absence by using the parent portal. No refunds/credits for missed classes.
Illness: please keep your child home if their sick to reduce the spread.
Cancelled Classes: Niagara Ballet School reserves the right cancel classes if deemed necessary and unavoidable. Dancers may attend another class to make up the missed class. A class will only be rescheduled if deemed necessary by administration.
Quitting or Expulsion: NB reserves the right to remove any dancer from the school. Any disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour can result in immediate expulsion. No refunds will be allotted to a dancer who has quit, been suspended or removed from the school. All account balances will be due immediately.
Refunds: we do not offer refunds. Account Credit Only. An account credit can be applied to anyone moving to a different class or can no longer attend their current class. Once the month of classes has begun there will be no credit allotted for that month.
Private Lessons: Offered to NBS Students Only, Administration may cancel private lessons. NO Refunds, account credit Only.
Injuries: NB must be notified of all injuries (previous or current). All injuries must be monitored by the students Health Care Team. Niagara Ballet School is not liable for any injuries.
Punctuality: Students are required to arrive on time and prepared for class.
Recital: All dancers are encouraged to participate in our year end Recital. Please select the recital button on your dancers portal. There will be a small participation fee $25+HST
- ticket fees & possible uniform accessory fees are additional
- Professional program students must participate in recital.
Media: Niagara Ballet School reserves the right to post photos & video of its dancers on social media & advertisements. Students must tag Niagara Ballet School in any/all dance related posts.
Classes must have a minimum of 4 dancers, if this minimum is not met classes could be combined & schedule changed.
Professional Program Classes will be shortened or cancelled if 2 dancers or less are in attendance.
Outside coaching is prohibited unless discussed/approved prior with Director.
Summer classes & intensives are mandatory for professional program students unless discussed prior with Director due to previous commitments.
- Uniform must be worn to all classes, excluding out of uniform days.
Hair must be done neatly for every class.
Proper footwear must be worn to every class.
Lockers will be provided to all professional program Students training 3 days or more. Students must provide own lock. Niagara Ballet School is not responsible for any lost/stolen items.
By signing this form, it is understood that complete trust in Niagara Ballet School and its teachers is required by parents & students. In order for the dancer to flourish, trust is necessary & mandatory.
