Evolve Dance Studio Policies & Waivers
Payment Policy:
-All accounts must be enrolled in our automatic monthly payment plan via credit/debit card or checking account.
-In-person payments are accepted.
-Tuition and fees are automatically deducted on the first day of each month.
-Costume and additional fees will be automatically charged on their designated due dates.
-Tuition and all other payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to tuition, costumes, competition fees, and other pre-paid expenses.
-A $5 late fee per family will be applied if payment fails or is not received on the due date.
-If you do not have a valid working card or account on file for more than one billing cycle, your dancer’s spot in class may be forfeited and all fees paid will be non-refundable for the season.
Tuition Rates:
-Tuition operates on a membership-style plan, calculated on an annual/session basis and divided into monthly payments.
-Fees remain the same regardless of the number of classes in a given month (including months with holidays or scheduled breaks).
-Tuition will not be prorated or refunded for missed classes due to illness, weather closures, or school breaks.
Illness & Missed Classes:
-Monthly tuition is required in full regardless of attendance.
-If the studio or an instructor cancels a class (excluding weather-related cancellations), a make-up session will be offered.
-Make-up sessions will be scheduled based on space and teacher availability. Every effort will be made to accommodate as many dancers as possible, but space may be limited and accommodations are not guaranteed.
-Changing or Dropping Classes
-A 30-day written notice is required to withdraw from any class.
-All tuition and fees owed up to the cancellation date must be paid in full.
-Evolve Dance Studio does not provide refunds for any payments made prior to withdrawal. This includes, but is not limited to, tuition, costume fees, competition fees, and other prepaid charges.
Class Observation:
-Parents/guardians are asked not to enter the classroom during instruction to minimize distractions.
-Parents/guardians must remain in the designated waiting area while classes are in session.
Safety:
-The safety of our dancers is a top priority. However, Evolve Dance Studio staff cannot supervise students outside of the classroom or studio lobby.
-Timely drop-off and pick-up are required.
-Parents/guardians arriving late must park and come into the studio to pick up their child.
-Children under age 2 may not be left unattended without a parent/guardian present.
-Dancers who are not fully potty-trained must have a parent/guardian available on-site at all times during class.
Liability Waiver
-By enrolling at Evolve Dance Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
-Dance and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to sprains, strains, broken bones, and other injuries.
-You, on behalf of yourself and/or your child, release and discharge Evolve Dance Studio, its owners, instructors, and staff from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses sustained while participating in classes, rehearsals, performances, or related events.
-This waiver includes all claims for negligence, whether active or passive, on the part of Evolve Dance Studio and its staff.
Injury Disclaimer:
-Evolve Dance Studio is not responsible for any injuries sustained during participation in classes, performances, rehearsals, or related activities.
Parents/guardians and students assume all risks and are responsible for any medical expenses resulting from participation.
Media Release:
-By enrolling, you grant permission for Evolve Dance Studio to photograph, record, and/or video yourself or your child for use in marketing materials, including (but not limited to) the studio website, social media platforms, and printed advertising.
-No compensation will be provided for the use of such media.
-If you do not wish for your child’s image to be used, you must provide written notice to the studio.
Privacy Policy:
-Evolve Dance Studio respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
-Information collected during registration (such as student names, birthdates, medical details, contact information, and payment details) is used solely for class enrollment, safety, billing, and studio communication.
-Personal information will never be sold, rented, or shared with outside parties, except when required by law or necessary to process payments.
-Payment information is securely processed through our third-party billing provider and is not stored by Evolve Dance Studio.
-Parents/guardians may request to review or update their information at any time by contacting the studio directly.
