CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY (PARENTS & DANCERS)

By enrolling my child in the New Orleans East Satin Dolls Dance School, I acknowledge and agree to the following code of conduct expectations:

Dancer Conduct

Dancers are expected to:

Show respect to instructors, staff, teammates, and facility property

Follow instructions and studio rules at all times

Maintain appropriate behavior during classes, rehearsals, performances, parades, and events

Demonstrate teamwork, discipline, and positive sportsmanship

Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from class, rehearsal, or event.

Parent/Guardian Conduct

Parents/guardians are expected to:

Communicate respectfully with staff, instructors, and other families

Refrain from gossip, negative comments, or public criticism of the studio, staff, or dancers

Address concerns privately and through approved communication channels

Support studio decisions regarding participation, placement, and discipline

Negative behavior, harassment, or disruptive conduct by a parent/guardian may result in restricted communication, removal from events, or dismissal from the program.

No Tolerance for Disrespect

The studio maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:

Verbal abuse

Threats

Harassment

Disrespect toward staff, instructors, dancers, or families

Consequences

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in:

Warnings

Loss of participation privileges

Removal from performances or events

Dismissal from the program with no refunds

Director’s Authority

The Director reserves the right to make final decisions regarding behavior, discipline, and continued participation in the best interest of the dancer and the organization.
