Fringe Dance Studio LLC (“Fringe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of our students, parents, guardians, customers, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal information we collect, how we use and disclose that information, and the choices available to you.

This policy applies to information collected through our website, online forms, studio management and parent portal, communications with us, and our classes, programs, performances, competitions, events, and related services.

Media consent for the use of student photographs and videos in marketing and promotional materials is collected separately as part of account creation. Parents and guardians may update their media preferences at any time through their Studio Pro parent portal or by contacting us using the information in Section 9.

For minor students, we ask parents or legal guardians to create and manage the family account and provide information concerning their child.

Registration and Payments

Fringe uses third-party studio management, registration, communication, billing, and payment providers to operate student and family accounts and process transactions.

Payment card information is generally processed directly by third-party payment processors. Fringe does not intentionally collect or store complete payment card numbers through its public website.

Information Collected Automatically

Our website and technology providers may automatically collect device, browser, usage, and website interaction information, including IP address, pages viewed, referring information, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers.

2. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

- Register students and manage student and family accounts
- Administer classes, lessons, performances, competitions, events, and other programs
- Process payments and maintain business records
- Communicate about schedules, billing, events, policies, and other studio matters
- Respond to inquiries and requests
- Maintain information related to student health, safety, and emergencies

We may also use information for another purpose disclosed to you when it is collected or with your consent.

3. How We Disclose Information

Fringe does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for cross-site behavioral advertising or remarketing.

We may disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate our business, including:

- Website hosting, analytics, and technology providers
- Studio management, registration, and communication providers
- Payment processors
- Email and communication providers
- Accounting, payroll, insurance, legal, technology, and other professional service providers

These providers may process personal information as reasonably necessary to perform services for Fringe.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect health or safety, investigate fraud or misconduct, enforce our rights, complete a business transaction, or when you direct or authorize us to do so.

4. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website and service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, maintain security, and understand how visitors use the site.

These may include essential, preference, and analytics cookies.

Fringe does not currently use cross-site behavioral advertising or remarketing technologies. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where appropriate or required, update our cookie controls or provide additional notice or choices.

Where available, you may use our website's cookie controls or your browser settings to manage cookies. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

5. Children's Privacy

Fringe provides programs for children, including children under age 13. Online registration and account management for minor students are intended to be completed and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

Children under 13 should not independently create accounts or submit personal information through our website or registration services.

If we learn that personal information has been collected online directly from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental notice or consent under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), we will take appropriate steps to comply with applicable requirements, including obtaining parental consent where required or deleting the information.

We do not knowingly sell personal information concerning children or use personal information concerning our minor students for cross-site behavioral advertising directed to them.

Parents and legal guardians may contact Fringe regarding personal information associated with their child.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and satisfy legitimate business, safety, recordkeeping, insurance, contractual, and legal obligations.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, destroy, or anonymize it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.

Fringe uses reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Choices and California Privacy Disclosures

You may contact Fringe to request that we review, correct, update, or delete personal information associated with you or your child, where appropriate. We may need to verify your identity or parental authority before completing a request, and we may retain information where permitted or required for legitimate business, safety, insurance, recordkeeping, or legal purposes.

You may unsubscribe from optional promotional communications at any time. You may still receive administrative or transactional communications relating to your account or studio services.

Do Not Track

Some web browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting. Because there is no single universally accepted standard governing legacy DNT signals, our website does not currently respond specifically to them.

Where available, you may instead use our cookie controls or your browser settings to manage certain forms of online tracking.

If applicable law requires Fringe to recognize a particular browser-based privacy preference or opt-out mechanism, we will respond as required by law.

Third-Party Collection

Third-party providers that support our website, registration, analytics, communications, or payment services may collect information when you interact with those services.

When you interact directly with a third-party website or service, that provider's privacy policy and terms govern its collection and use of information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, service providers, or legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will post the revised policy and update the “Last Updated” date above.

If we make a material change to how we collect, use, or disclose personal information, we will post a prominent notice on our website describing the change. Where appropriate or required by law, we may also provide notice by email or through our studio management or parent portal.
