Odyssey Dance Company Payment Terms Agreement:
By enrolling my child in Odyssey Dance Company (ODC) classes held at Chance 2 Dance, Inc., I acknowledge and agree to the following payment terms and policies:
Payment & Billing
- Invoices are issued by the 1st of each month September- May. (August will be due upon first day of dance)
- All families are required to have a valid credit/debit card on file for automatic payments.
- Monthly tuition is auto-drafted on the 1st of each month at 5:00 PM.
- Alternative payment methods (cash, check, or Zelle) are accepted only if received before the 1st at 5:00 PM to avoid auto-draft/ convenience fees.
- Payments not received by the 1st will incur a $15 late fee applied on the 8th of the month.
- Students with balances over 30 days past due will not be permitted to attend class until the balance is resolved.
- Overdue balances must be paid via cash, money order, or bank check.
- A $30 fee will be charged for any returned checks or declined card transactions. Court costs may apply if necessary.
Tuition Structure
- Tuition is calculated over a 10-month school year (August 1, 2025 – May 23, 2026).
- No tuition adjustments will be made for holidays, scheduled breaks, or personal absences.
- No additional fees are charged for months with five classes.
- Tuition is not prorated for absences.
- Tuition and all related fees (e.g., registration, costumes, competitions, events, etc.) are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Registration & Discounts
- A $15 registration fee is due upon enrollment.
- A 10% sibling discount applies to the first sibling; a 15% discount applies to each additional sibling.
Cancellation Policy
- A 30-day written notice is required to cancel enrollment and stop recurring monthly charges.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted via email at least 30 days prior to the next scheduled withdrawal.
- Any remaining sessions must be used within 30 days after cancellation is submitted.
Delinquent Accounts & Legal Enforcement
- If payment is not received within 60 days, ODC reserves the right to pursue legal or third-party collection measures.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for all legal fees and court costs associated with unpaid balances.
Attendance & Make-Up Classes
- Regular attendance is critical to student progress.
- Excessive absences or tardiness may affect placement or participation.
- Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted at the instructor’s discretion.
- If a student misses more than 2 consecutive days due to illness or injury, a doctor’s note is required to return to class.
- If more than 4 unexcused absences occur in one semester, further action will be taken at the discretion of the program director.
Make-up classes are only offered for illness or travel and must be:
- Taken within one month of the missed class.
- Scheduled through the studio in a same-level class.
Non-Transfer & Non-Refund Policy
- This agreement is non-transferable.
- All tuition, registration, costume, event, and competition fees are non-refundable, regardless of withdrawal, dismissal, or schedule changes, unless a program is cancelled by ODC. In such cases, ODC will:
- Attempt to transfer the student to a substantially similar program, or Issue a full refund if a comparable option is unavailable.
Authorization:
I acknowledge and accept all terms outlined above. I authorize Odyssey Dance Company to charge my card on file for tuition and fees according to the conditions stated.
