Welcome to dance class!
We are so happy to have you here at NLDS! Whether you are a new student or a returning student, here is a list of things that will help you have a successful dance year. As a reminder payments here at NLDS are based on a yearly calendar, we've split those payments into a monthly rate for your convenience. Regardless of how many classes a dancer has missed, full tuition must be paid by the 9th of every month to avoid a $15 late fee. Missed payments may result in your dancer being removed from the studio.

Dance Attire: It is important to wear the correct dance attire and dance shoes to class. Please check our website for more info!

Stay Informed:
Dont forget we send out newsletters to the email you provided us and post a lot of our information on our website for your convenience. We also have a Facebook and Instagram page that we keep updated daily. Following us on both forms of social media will keep you informed easily.

Pack your dance bag:
Some of our dancers helped us put together a checklist for you!
Dance shoes (label inside of all shoes)
Water bottle
Hair ties
Deodorant

We are a busy studio so we ask all dancers to bring their dance bag and other items into the dance rooms with them. As always, we ask that our NLDS family waiting in the lobby keeps the noise level down so our teachers and your dancers can concentrate inside the classrooms. While using any phones/iPods/tablets please use headphones, or you may sit outside. Thank you for your understanding.

Work as a Team, Be Respectful, & Have Fun:
Being part of a dance class is just like being part of a team. Teamwork makes the dream work, and we have to work together to ensure we have a great dance year! Remember everyone learns and progresses at a pace and we are all here for the same reason, to dance! We love our NLDS families and pride ourselves on having such respectful kids! Dancing is a privilege, don't forget to thank the person who drives you to dance class every week, and don't forget to thank your dance teachers for their time. Last but not least, Have fun! Dance is all about fun, whether you're a beginner student or an advanced student, never lose sight of that!
