Tuition Policy

*TUITION*
Monthly tuition will be due on the 1st of each month, and statements are issued to families monthly.

Tuition is not adjusted or prorated for those weeks in which the studio is closed (fall break, Thanksgiving break, winter break, spring break, etc.) or for student absences, inclement weather, or the length of the month. Tuition will be prorated if a student registers in the middle of the month.

*ABSENCES/MAKE-UP POLICY*
Make-up classes are available but must be used within 30 days of your missed class. Dancers must take a make-up class within their age and level. There will be no make-up classes for Company. We do not offer refunds or adjust tuition for any missed classes.

*LATE FEE AND PENALTIES*
A $60.00 late fee will be added to all accounts not paid on or before the 10th of the month. If full payment, including any late fees, is not received by the last day of the month, students will be immediately suspended from classes, may be removed from competitive dances, and may be ineligible to participate in upcoming recitals. Further, students will not be allowed to register for or attend any future convention or competition, order apparel or accessories, or schedule private lessons with any BDA instructors until the outstanding balance is resolved.

*REGISTRATION FEES*
Student registration fees are due upon initial registration each dance season and are non-refundable. The registration period is for the entire dance season, from August to May.

*RETURNED CHECKS*
A $40 fee for all returned checks and any applicable late fees will be charged.

*WITHDRAWAL*
At Boutique Dance Academy (BDA), we strive to provide clarity and transparency regarding our withdrawal process. To ensure fairness and consistency, we have outlined the following policy for all enrolled families:

- Notice Requirement: Families must submit a written withdrawal notice to studio@boutiquedanceacademy.com no later than the 10th of the month to avoid being charged for the following month’s full tuition.
- Billing Policy: If a withdrawal notice is received after the 10th of the month, you will be responsible for the full tuition amount for the following month, as BDA holds a reserved spot for your dancer in their class.
- No Refunds: Tuition is billed on a monthly basis and is not calculated per class. We do not offer prorated tuition, credits, or refunds for mid-month withdrawals.

*AUTO-PAY*
All BDA dancers will be required to enroll in auto-pay for their tuition in order to enroll in classes. Tuition charges will always run on the 1st of every month, and other charges, such as costumes or recital fees, will be charged throughout the month, with advanced notice of the auto-pay run date.
