C5 LiTTLiES 2026 TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Enrolment:
- Enrolment at C5 LiTTLiES is for a full calendar year that align with the New South Wales School Term.
- By signing C5 LiTTLiES's terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you are entering into a legally binding contract.

2. Enrolment Finalisation:
- To secure your child's place at C5 LiTTLiES, you must complete the following:
a. Sign the terms and conditions
b. Set up your account via the Registration link
c. Select your class/classes
d. Pay the $111 Registration Fee (this includes your brand new 2026 uniform which is
compulsory for class)

3. Codes of Behaviour:
- C5 LiTTLiES does not tolerate any form of abuse, intimidation, threats, rudeness, passive
aggression, coercion (both written or verbal).
- C5 LiTTLiES reserves the right to cancel your account and your child's enrolment if you, as the parent/guardian or student, breach the codes of behaviour.

4. Parent/Guardian's Conduct:
- If one parent or guardian breaches the codes of behaviour, C5 LiTTLiES has the right to cease contact with that person.
- The person in breach will not be allowed on C5 LiTTLiES's premises and may not be welcome at the end of year concert.
- Another parent, guardian, or relative will be required as the point of communication.

5. Acceptance of Enrolment:
- C5 LiTTLiES may decline your enrolment for the new year if you, as the parent/guardian or student, have behaved in a manner that does not align with C5 LiTTLiES's code of behaviour and culture.

6. Child's Participation:
- By signing up your child for dance classes, you confirm that your child wants to dance and be an active participant in class.

7. Assumption of Risk:
- Dance is a physical activity with inherent risks.
- C5 LiTTLiES and its faculty are not responsible for any injury that may occur during a lesson.

8. Traffic and Road Rules:
- C5 LiTTLiES operates in a residential area.
- You agree to abide by traffic and road rules, including following the LiTTLiES drop off/pick up procedures as outlined in the C5 LiTTLiES information booklet.
- You agree to treat The Coast Centre building and surrounding residential properties with
respect, including all facilities, vehicles, personal belongings, and all residents and occupants who live in or use these spaces.

9. Timeliness and Pick-up:
- For the safety and wellbeing of all students, we kindly ask that children are collected on time at the end of class.
- If a family is late on more than one occasion, C5 LiTTLiES reserves the right to apply a late collection fee on the second occurrence, charged at $1 per minute until the child is collected.
We appreciate your understanding that our teachers are unable to remain on site beyond teaching hours to wait with children who are collected late.

10. Communication and Instructions:
- It is your responsibility to inform all individuals who may drop off or pick up your child about the specific street and studio your child will be using, as well as the time.
- You must also inform them that they cannot be rude to any C5 LiTTLiES staff if they require assistance or are misinformed.

11. Drop off/Pick up Procedures:
- C5 LiTTLiES’s drop off/pick up procedures are designed to alleviate congestion,
accommodate narrow streets, and respect neighbours.
- Your cooperation in this process is appreciated if you wish for your child to attend class.

12. Communication and Patience:
- C5 LiTTLiES is a small business and does not operate like a large corporation.
- As a parent or guardian, it is your responsibility to stay updated with information, drop off/pick up procedures, and contribute positively to the school's culture.
- Please be patient when contacting our admin team as they work part-time hours, and when waiting to speak with reception.

13. Fee Payment:
- Fees are to be paid quarterly via bank transfer or credit card online through your account using our system, that align with the four school terms.
- Regardless of your child's attendance, fees are to be paid on time each Term.

14. Account Responsibility:
- The registered parent or guardian is responsible for the account.
- C5 LiTTLiES will not assist split families with fees, and it is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to make their own arrangements personally.

15. Fee Payment and Attendance:
- If you fall 3 weeks behind in your fees, your child will be unable to attend class until fees are up to date.
- There is no refund, credit, or transfer for classes that you do not attend.
- Your account will not be paused or credited if you choose to take holidays or time off during the dancing term and if you choose to withdraw, you forfeit your child’s spot in their class/classes.

16. Fees and Details:
- Invoices will be sent out every Monday of Week 10 and families will have up to two weeks to finalise payment.
- It Is families responsibility to pay fees on time.
- If families do not receive their invoice in their inbox, it is their responsibility to check junk/spam folders or email through to ask for the invoice to be sent again.
- If fees aren’t paid by the due date, a $5.00 admin fee will be added per week until fees are payed.

17. New Parent Account Commencement:

- New families to C5 LiTTLiES are offered a two-week obligation-free trial period. During this time, families may create an account in our system without enrolling or paying the Registration Fee. We recommend waiting until the trial period has concluded before enrolling, as Registration Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

- If you choose not to continue after the two-week trial, no charges will apply.

 - If you choose to continue with classes, you will be charged for the first two trial weeks, along with the remaining weeks of the Term.

18. Withdrawal Notice:
- If you wish to withdraw your child from a class or from C5 LiTTLiES, you must provide four weeks written notice to littlies@c5dancestudio.com.au.

19. Withdrawal for the Next Term:
- If you do not wish for your child to continue in the following term, you must contact littlies@c5dancestudio.com.au by the end of week 8 of that term.
- If you withdraw at a later time, you will be invoiced for the first two weeks in which your child can attend class.

20. Active or Creative Vouchers:
- C5 LiTTLiES unfortunately do not accept Active or Creative Kids Vouchers for our classes.

21. Class Cancellation and Credit:
- In the rare event that C5 LiTTLiES cancels a class, your account will be credited in the
following term.
- If you withdraw before this time, you forfeit the credit.

22. Replacement Class or Forfeiture:
- In the rare event that C5 LiTTLiES cancels a class in term 4, a replacement class will be
offered.
- If you cannot attend the replacement class, you will forfeit this lesson.

23. Lockdown or Pandemic:
- In the rare event of a lockdown or pandemic, classes will move online and follow the same timetable.
- Fees will remain the same if this takes place during the term, but if it continues into a new term, fees will be reduced by 25%.

24. Changes in Timetables, Procedures, and Fees:
- C5 LiTTLiES has the discretion to make any changes necessary to timetables, procedures, or fees in the event of a lockdown/pandemic.

25. Non-Attendance and Account Cessation:
- No refunds, credits, or fee transfers are issued if your child does not attend class.
- Your account will cease once four weeks notice has been issued in writing to
littlies@c5dancestudio.com.au.

26. Account Pause or Credit for Major Illness or Injury:
- Only in the event of major illness requiring hospitalisation or major injury requiring surgery
requiring four or more weeks of recovery, your account will be paused or credited in the following term for the time they have off.

27. Attendance with Broken Bones or Similar Injuries:
- If your child has broken bones or injuries of a similar nature, they can still attend class to watch or participate if safe to do so.

28. Costume Hire Fee:
- Costume Hire Fees are non-refundable.
- If you withdraw from C5 LiTTLiES in Term 3 or Term 4 after the costume hire fee has been paid, you forfeit this money.
- Costume fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and no credit can be issued if you do not wish to continue.

29. Concert Production Fee:
- In Term 4, a Concert Production fee of $65 x 1 child or $85 x 2 OR $105 3 x siblings will be added to your invoice.
- This fee will cover a digital copy of the filming of the end-of-year concert, backstage staff on concert day, music licenses, and any props or accessories required.
- If you withdraw during Term 4 the production fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, and no credit can be issued.

30. Concert Socks and Stockings
 - A new pair of Concert Socks and Stockings will be added to your Term 4 invoice. All students participating in Concert Day are required to wear a new pair.
- For consistency and uniformity, families are not permitted to provide their own socks or
stockings.


31. Uniform and Grooming Requirements:
- C5 LiTTLiES is a uniformed dance studio, and your child must wear the correct uniform and dance shoes in each class in order to attend. This also includes socks that are provided by us.
- Required uniform and grooming can be found in your 2026 Prospectus/Handbook.

32. Food and Water:
- Your child must bring water to all classes, but no food is to be brought to the school.

33. No Nuts or Chewing Gum Policy:
- C5 LiTTLiES has a strict no nuts or chewing gum policy.

34. Behaviour and Safety:
- Your child and any family or friends that enter C5 Dance Studio cannot cause physical,
emotional, or mental harm to any other student or their family members or cause damage to
anyone's personal property or damage to C5 Dance Studio property or The Coast Centre.
- Adults cannot approach any students of C5 Dance Studio, and if you are concerned for
another child's well-being, you will immediately seek out a staff member. Only in the event that you have a relationship with the child and their family, can you assist them if it is safe to do so.

35. Restricted Areas and Parent/Guardian Access:
- To support independent learning and maintain a safe, focused class environment, parents, guardians, and visitors are asked to remain outside the studio and not enter studios unless in the case of an emergency.
These guidelines help promote class engagement, independence, and student safety.

36. Selective Performance Groups and Special Routines:
- C5 LiTTLiES will ask a number of different classes to perform for shows at different times
within the year.
- Our goal is to select as many students as possible, however these events are by selection only and are a privilege, not a right.
- Additional performances/shows throughout the year are for students who attend our 4-5 yrs LiL Combo classes only.
- You cannot question or abuse teachers or staff if your child is not selected.

37. Promotion of a Supportive Environment:
- C5 LiTTLiES does not wish to indulge in gossip, bringing down others, or have members who are not supportive or happy for fellow students and the school.
- You are expected to do your part in not taking part in this behaviour.

38. Zero Tolerance for Bullying:
- C5 LiTTLiES has a strict zero tolerance policy towards bullying of students or staff.

39. Behaviour and Disruptive Behaviour:
- C5 LiTTLiES is a structured dance program focused on learning, creativity, and skill
development. While we create a nurturing environment, classes are not intended to function as a before or after school minding service.
- We expect all students to behave respectfully and safely. Disruptive behaviour—including physical behaviour such as hitting, pushing, grabbing, or placing hands on another child—that interferes with other students learning or class flow is not permitted.

- Teachers will initially address behavioural concerns within the class in a supportive and age-appropriate manner. If there is no improvement, parents or guardians will be contacted.

- If disruptive or unsafe behaviour continues despite support and communication, C5 LiTTLiES reserves the right to require the student to cease attending classes.

40. Reporting and Concerning Behaviour:
- It is important that your child reports any concerning behaviour from a teacher/staff member, student teacher, or fellow student to you as the parent or a safe teacher.
- This includes but is not limited to poor language, threats, intimidation, or uncomfortable or unwelcome touch.
- Once a parent is aware of this behaviour, it is important to report it immediately.

41. Physical Touch and Consent:
- At times, teachers may use gentle, appropriate physical guidance to support students in
learning correct positioning, alignment, or safely trying new skills.
- In most scenarios, a teacher will ask first or indicate what they are doing to help the child feel comfortable or safe.
- Parents are requested to assist in educating their child on what is safe touch and what is
inappropriate.
- C5 LiTTLiES takes this very seriously.
- If you do not wish for your child to be assisted with touch, you must notify
littlies@c5dancestudio.com.au so that all teachers can be informed.
- If you do not wish for your child to be dressed backstage at the Concert by one of our helpers who require a WWC, you must notify littlies@c5dancestudio.com.au prior to Concert day so that we can assist you in organising your own dresser for the day who also has a WWC.

42. Social Media Opt-Out:
- Teachers will sometimes get their phones out to take photo content of students in class for advertising purposes on our socials.
- You must notify littlies@c5dancestudio.com.au in writing if you do not wish for your child to appear in social media photos or videos.

43. Filming and Photography on Viewing Days:
- On viewing days, you must try to limit any filming or photography to your child where possible.
- If you do not want your child in anyone's videos or photos, you will alert the teachers at the start of the class.

44. Photography and Filming for Special Events or Performances:
- If your child is selected for a show or a special event or performance, there will be public
photography and filming from events and for C5 Dance Studio use.

45. Lost Property:

- C5 LiTTLiES is not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings. Our team will place any lost items found in the box located at reception on Darwin Ave. Please do not contact our team to help you with lost property. You can visit reception on Tuesdays 4-8pm or Saturdays 9-11am.


46. Personal Contact With Staff:

- Please do not contact C5 LiTTLiES staff on any social media platforms, we have a dedicated team who work on administration and they can assist you better when all communication is the one place when they are clocked on to work.

47. The Future of C5 LiTTLiES:

- I understand that C5 LiTTLiES Management reserve the right to alter procedures if necessary for the betterment of its students, staff and the survival of the business. This can include but not limited to timetable changes, teacher changes, classes merged or canceled if class numbers are not feasible.
