*Each student is responsible for their own missed classes and will not be able to make them up or receive a refund for these.
Substitutes: DLB reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach class.

What to Expect at the Recital
When: Saturday, January 24th
Time: (TBD)
Arrival Time for Students: Students must be at the venue early for attendance check, costume check, and warmup stretch. Student arrival time is TBD. Students age 7 and under (Twirling Tots & Kicking Cuties) perform in one show and students age 8 and up (Dancing Divas & Juniors) are required to perform in 2 shows. Students are to come to the recital ready to perform - costumes, makeup, shoes, tights, hair, accessories, etc. should be complete. If a student is in multiple classes, please be sure they wear a tan/nude leotard with skinny straps underneath their costumes for backstage quick changes.
*Classes will be told what color tights to wear and how their hair should be via email. Please make a note of this for the recital
Backstage: Parents are not permitted in the backstage areas during the show unless signed up as a volunteer. You will not be permitted in the backstage area until the show is complete (this includes no admittance backstage during intermission). If you are uncomfortable with any of these policies, please have a discussion with Miss. Rachel to see if participating in the recital is right for you and your child.
Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer to assist backstage there will be a signup on the parent portal starting December 1st. As a volunteer you will receive a discount code for one free ticket and will be able to watch your child perform from the stage wings during their number. Volunteer spots will be limited so be sure to sign up on the parent portal after the start date.
Arrival Time for Friends & Family: Please note that the recital will start promptly at its scheduled start time to stay on schedule. Please do your best to arrive early so as to not disrupt the performance. Doors will open 30-45 minutes before the start of the show.
Admission: Tickets are $18.00 and will be sold online through our website. VIP tickets for seats in the first 4 rows are $25.00. Tickets for children aged 10 and under are $10.00. Ticket sales are done ahead of the show. Number of tickets per show is limited so we advise purchasing tickets as soon as you are able.
Dress Rehearsal: Dress rehearsal will be held Friday, January 23rd at the venue. Students are to come to the dress rehearsal in costume as if this were the actual day of the show as we will be running through all numbers.
