Costume, Media, Hair and Makeup Contract

COSTUME , MEDIA, HAIR, MAKE UP CONTRACT
My understanding:
____Please order the costumes for my child’s dance classes for this year’s holiday show (due prior to starting) Recital and/or Competition. My signature accompanied by the initial deposit per costume confirms authorization to place the order. I understand that once the order is placed, I am responsible for the entire cost of the costume, (estimated at $99 per costume) even if my child drops out or is excused for reasons but not limited to those circumstances as outlined in the expectations and obligations contract. There are no refunds. Costumes are custom made and are non-refundable but available for exchange only, when appropriate. I also understand the costume fittings are not exact and that if not able to exchange, I am financially responsible for necessary alterations. Due to timing of ordering/payment plans, there are times we are unable to get the exact costume that was sampled, in this case, we will provide a replacement which fits the vision of the choreographer. Accessories and dance shoes that do not accompany the costume are purchased separately and are not included in your payment agreement.
____A media fee is included in your registration. It will cover media for the holiday and a 2nd fee will be assessed in January to everyone to cover your end of year recital media.
_____Our dancers are required to wear full make up for picture day and all performances. Select colors will be provided prior to performance time.
_____Our dancers are required to have designated hair styles which will be provided in ample time to adjust as needed. A fee will be assessed if a hairpiece or headpiece is needed to complete the look.
Note: While we embrace braids during routine practices, due to the many styles, they are not uniform for our entire group and won't be acceptable for competition team picture day nor any performances. They are acceptable for studio wide picture day. Dancers with a permanent natural hair style is acceptable and should be styled to be in the select style for the group. Braids in class are also acceptable if secured from face without dangling hair jewelry, such as beads or outlandish colors, nails as well.. These tend to come off and can cause injury if someone slips. Dancer’s arriving without proper costuming or hair as indicated will not be able to perform. No exceptions to this policy. _______

-In effort to order costumes at discounted bulk order pricing, the initial deposit due October 18th,
must be paid in full. Subsequent deposits are made monthly thereafter. If we need to make a second order due to late payment, you’re subject to the higher non bulk cost of the costume, additional shipping and risk that it’s no longer available.*
-In the event a studio sponsored event is postponed, we will make every effort to plan for another time to hold an event and therefore enabling an opportunity as deemed appropriate to use the costumes purchased.
