If more than 2 of the same classes are missed due to any of the mentioned reasonings, a make-up class will be scheduled, but only if time and teacher schedules permit.
ABSENCES
Good attendance is imperative to the growth of our dancers. The absence of one dancer affects the entire group. If any dancer misses an exceptional amount of classes we reserve the right to remove them from the class. Please make every effort to attend each class. Doctor’s notes are helpful for teachers to understand the severity of a dancer’s injury or illness and are encouraged when students are absent for these reasons. Attending and participating in Dress Rehearsal is mandatory in order to perform in the Recital.
COVID-19 RELATED POLICIES
Students will not be allowed to come to class if they have a fever, chills, stomach ache, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or any other symptoms outlined by the CDC. Students must wash or sanitize hands before class starts and when class ends. Students must resist touching their face during class time and must wear a face mask when it is necessary and safe to do so.
