Elevate Performing Arts Center
2026–2027 Season Policies & Procedures
General Information
These policies apply to all regular season classes and lessons offered by Elevate Performing Arts Center for the 2026–2027 season unless otherwise noted. These policies do not apply to summer classes, camps, workshops, or special events.
# Tuition Fees & Payments
Tuition rates are based on the full season schedule from August 1 through the last day of classes in May, including studio holidays, and are not determined by the number of classes held in a given month. A full season includes a minimum of 38 lessons/classes.
Tuition may be paid monthly or annually.
The final tuition payment for the season will be processed on May 1.
After registration and payment of the annual membership fee, all monthly tuition payments must be enrolled in automatic payment through EFT, debit card, or credit card.
* Tuition is processed on the 1st day of each month
* Credit and debit card payments are subject to a 3% convenience fee
* EFT payments are subject to a 1% convenience fee
* Families wishing to avoid processing fees may pay by cash or check prior to the 1st of the month
Accounts with unpaid balances may:
* Receive applicable late charges
* Have services suspended until payment is received
* Be submitted to collections if more than 60 days past due
Recital costume fees will be automatically charged on January 15. Costume fees are published on the studio website and parent portal.
# Rollover Membership Policy
To reserve placement for the upcoming season, annual membership fees of $40 will automatically renew and be applied to accounts on June 1, unless families opt out through the form distributed prior to that date.
# NSF / Declined Payments
Returned checks or declined payments will incur a $30 NSF fee.
All outstanding balances and associated fees must be paid promptly to maintain enrollment status.
# Late Payments
Accounts with unpaid balances that are not paid within the first 15 days of the month will incur a late fee equal to 10% of the unpaid balance.
Late fees will continue to apply to outstanding balances until the account is brought current.
# Withdrawal From Classes & Lessons
There is a 2 month minimum enrollment for all classes and lessons.
To discontinue enrollment:
* A completed withdrawal form must be submitted
* Notice must begin on the 1st day of the month
* A one-month notice is required before tuition charges stop
Automatic payments will continue during the notice period.
Verbal notice or non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal.
# Private Dance Lesson Cancellation Policy
Private lesson cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice will receive a full refund.
Lessons missed without notice or canceled with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable.
# Class Scheduling & Teacher Substitution
Elevate Performing Arts Center reserves the right to:
* Reschedule classes
* Combine classes when necessary
* Assign substitute instructors
* Transition classes to an online format if in-person instruction is not possible
This may occur due to weather, illness, instructor absence, emergencies, governmental advisories, or other unforeseen circumstances.
# Refund & Account Credit Policy
Tuition, membership fees, and costume fees are non-refundable except in cases where the studio cancels a class due to insufficient enrollment.
When a family initiates a schedule change, account credit may be issued and applied toward future tuition or fees within 1 year.
If an online class option is provided in place of an in-person class, refunds will not be issued.
# Attendance Policies
Dance Programs
Regular attendance is essential for student progress and group choreography.
* Makeup classes may be completed through April 1
* If a student misses more than 2 of the final 8 classes before recital, the student may be removed from the recital routine at the instructor’s discretion
* Families are encouraged to report absences through the studio website or by phone
Music Programs
Music lessons are private instruction sessions, and consistent attendance is important for student growth.
* A minimum of 24 hours notice is requested for missed lessons
* Students are allowed two makeup lessons per season for emergencies
* Makeup lessons may be conducted online depending on instructor availability
# Dress Code Policy
Proper attire is required for all classes.
Class attire requirements, including shoes and hair guidelines, are listed in the class schedule.

The studio communicates important information through:
* Monthly email newsletters
* Parent portal announcements
* Social media platforms
* Lobby communication boards and waiting room displays
Families are responsible for reviewing studio communications regularly.
Official studio websites and social media pages: Facebook, Instagram and epacga.com
# Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, an email will be sent and a Facebook post will be made by 2:00 PM if afternoon or evening classes are canceled (8:00 AM for morning classes).
Please note that Elevate Performing Arts Center does not necessarily follow school closings, as roads are often cleared by the time studio classes begin.
Any canceled classes may be made up on your own time through our regular class schedule, based on availability. If a makeup class is not available, a replacement lesson opportunity will be scheduled.
# Lost & Found / Security Policy
The studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended belongings.
Lost and found items are periodically donated on the 1st day of each month if unclaimed.
Students are encouraged to keep personal belongings secured and bring dance bags into classrooms when appropriate.
