Payment Terms & Conditions (Effective March 1st, 2026)
To ensure smooth operations and fairness for all, please review our updated payment policies below.
1. Payment Due Dates & Methods
Fee’s are paid across 11 equal monthly instalments, with no payment being taken during the month of August. For example a class is £5.50, we times that by 44 weeks (The amount of weeks we are open a year) and then divide it by 11 equal installments to help parents with budgeting.
Invoices will be sent on the 20th of each month with payment collected by direct debit on the 1st for the upcoming month.
Preferred payment method: AutoPay via our portal, which offers an easy and secure direct debit system.
Any outstanding balances must be cleared before adding additional classes, private lessons, or extra sessions.
Private sessions will be charged separately to classes
2. Class Changes & Withdrawals
Any class changes must be submitted before the 20th of each month to RFDance@outlook.com Changes requested after this date will take effect in the following month due to the administrative workload involved.
If a dancer wishes to withdraw from a class, a one-month notice period is required, and tuition for the final month must still be paid in full. For example they decide on the 15th that they wish to drop the class, payment until the end of that current month would still be payable but as soon as the new month starts that change will take effect.
3. Late Payments & Outstanding Fees
Any payments not received on the due date may be subject to late payment charges.
If a balance remains unpaid, we reserve the right to refuse your child's participation in classes and enrolment within the school until payment is received.
Private lessons, extra workshops, or additional classes cannot be booked until any outstanding fees are cleared.
4. Refunds & Missed Classes
All tuition fees are non-refundable, regardless of missed classes, illness, holidays, or early withdrawal.
No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes unless the school cancels a session with no reschedule option or the dancer has an injury that means they'll be out for a long period of time (Eg a broken bone, each case will be discussed on an individual basis)
If we do have to cancel a class we will aim to always provide a make-up lesson for that class at a date and time chosen by the school. We will always aim to make it suitable for everyone but we can’t make guarantees.
5. Trial Classes & Enrolment Fees
Trial classes must be paid before attendance via our parent portal
6. Private Lessons & Extra Sessions
Private lessons must be paid in advance and are non-refundable if cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.
You may try to swap yourself with someone else but please let the teacher know if your doing this
Privates may need to be cancelled with short notice due to staff needing to cover classes or illness- credits on the account will be given for this.
Privates are never guaranteed - if our timetable changes and staff are required to take a class where your private used to be it isn’t guaranteed we will be able to find you another slot.
Content taught in privates is at the teachers discretion unless you have a specific request, please speak to that teacher directly.
Any extra workshops or one-off sessions must be paid before attending.
7. Payment Disputes & Returned Payments
Any disputes regarding payments must be raised within 7 days of the charge.
Any returned or failed direct debits may result in a bank fee charge, and lessons may be paused until the balance is settled.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns regarding payments, please contact us directly via email only.
