As a condition of enrollment at the Collenette School of Dancing, students and their parents or guardians agree to abide by all the policies set forth by Collenette School of Dancing, its director, faculty, and staff. Collenette School of Dancing reserves the right to terminate any student enrollment at any time for misconduct or inappropriate actions by either the student or his or her parent(s).

• Tuition is due in full on the first day of your course. No Refunds. Late fees of $30 will be added after 14 days. If not paid on time, a $40 fee will be added every 7 days fees are not paid for.
• All dancing families are required to have a credit card on file or enter their bank information (ACH) for tuition, apparel, or other charges that may be incurred while dancing with the Collenette School of Dancing. No Refunds
• There will be a 3% processing fee for all Credit Cards, but NO processing fee for ACH payments. No Refunds
• The Class Cancellation Policy:
-Families must notify the Collenette School of Dancing Staff by the last day of the Month in writing prior to new billing month about cancellation of class(es), or Families will be charged for the next month of classes. No exceptions. No Refunds.
• All makeups classes must be scheduled through the Collenette front desk, by email, phone call or in person. If a student does not show up for their scheduled makeup, with no communication of not attending, there will be a $20 fee for not showing up.
• Students must be on time. Students will not be allowed to join class if they are over 5 minutes late.
• Missed classes must be communicated in advance at least 24 hours before the missed class in order to use the makeups later. They will not roll over. Makeups must be used within 30 days of the missed class for the 2026-2027 school year. No refunds on student missed classes.
• If class falls on a closed holiday or the class is cancelled, class credit will be given to students Collenette account, and students cannot do a make it class.
• Students must be in uniform: Hair, shoes, leotard and tights. Hair must be appropriate for the class he/she is attending. Warnings will be issued if dress code is not followed and students will be sent home with a letter to parents.
• We require that you purchase any ballet shoe from us, the Collenette School of Dancing.
• Absolutely no gum, food or drinks (besides water) are allowed in the classroom or in the waiting room. This includes students, parents, siblings and guests of our dancing families.
• Students should not eat less than 30 min before class as this can make dancers tummy's upset while dancing.
• Collenette School of Dancing is not liable for personal injuries.
• Please inform instructors of any previous injuries and special needs prior to class.
• No Photos or videos of students while in class or rehearsals. Unless Mrs. Emily says it is ok.
• Young Students, ages 3 to 9, are requested to not participate in ballet programs at other schools, exceptions can be made for older students, Please ask.
• By signing up for a class, you agree to grant the Collenette School of Dancing use of any recorded images of the student(s) during class, rehearsal and performances.
• By signing up for a class, you give your permission to be added to the mailing list. Including emails, letters, and flyers.
• All dancing families pay first and last month’s tuition for the August 2026 to May 2027 school year. No refunds.
• This is a membership contract, so when you sign up it is for the full school year of August 2026 to May 2027. No refunds.
• Tuition is due at registration, at least 24 hours before your first class. No refunds.
• We accept checks, all credit cards, ACH transfers and cash. No refunds.
• Declined Auto-Pay: A $25 decline fee will be applied to accounts when hour auto-payment is declined, account is closed, or payment is stopped or not honored. It is your responsibility to notify us if you have a new exportation date or a new form of payment. No refunds.
• Late Payment: A $30 fee will be added 14 days after the due date of your tuition if not paid on time. And every 7 days after that a $40 fee will be added until payment is paid. No refunds.
• Payment Plans: We will accept almost any payment plan that is asked. Please communicate with us before your payment is due to make sure you are not charged any late fees. No refunds.
• Chargebacks: All chargebacks incur a $35 fee. Any dispute must be handled directly with the studio and not with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks will result in immediate dismissal and may be sent to collections.
• Tuition is N0N-REFUNDABLE.
• Enrollment automatically rolls over from one month to the next, August 2026 to May 2027, with the exception of Summer classes, June 2027 to July 2027. No refunds.
• Early cancellations: If you cancel your class(es) before November 29th 2026 you will not be held responsible for the rest of the year’s payments. If you do NOT cancel your classes before November 29th 2026, for the January 2027 to May 2027 classes, you will still be charged for the entire invoiced period, January 2027 to May 2027. Discontinuing mid-season will result in the full remaining balance of tuition fees being billed to your account. No refunds.
• We will pro-rate for registering mid month, but there is no credit or pausing of accounts/tuition for any reason, extended absences, vacations, and the like. No refunds
