Waiver of Liability (required to take classes):
As a participant in any program or class of Tippi Toes Dance CompanyÂ® of the Bluegrass, LLC I recognize and acknowledge the nature of the activities my child will be participating in and that my child is in the proper physical condition and capable of participating in the related activities, understanding that Tippi ToesÂ® is not in any way responsible for making such a determination.

I agree to waive and relinquish all claims that I or my minor child may have as a result of participating in any program or class against Tippi Toes Dance CompanyÂ® of the Bluegrass, LLC and its officers, agents, servants, employees and independent contractors. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend Tippi Toes Dance CompanyÂ® of the Bluegrass, LLC and its officers, agents, servants, employees and independent contractors from my claims resulting from injuries including death, damages and losses sustained by me or my minor child that arise out of, in connection with, or in any way associated with the activities of this program.

Photograph release:
I hereby permit the use of my, or my daughter/sonâ€™s image to be photographed, videotaped or otherwise recorded for use in Tippi Toes Dance Companyâ€™sÂ® and The Ballroom House's publicity or educational materials. These materials include, but are not limited to, photographs of classes and performances, newsletters, various other publications, Tippi Toes Dance Companyâ€™sÂ® and The Ballroom House's internet webpage and social media outlets and videos of classes or performances.

2026-2027 Policies and Tuition Updates

POLICIES AND PRICING

• Tuition
Tuition is $70/month for Baby Ballet and Toddler & Me, $80/month for Ballet/Tap/Jazz, Hip Hop/Jazz, Tippi Pro and Beginner Tap. Annual registration fee is $55 and includes a new Tippi Toes t-shirt to be delivered to dance class by the end of September.

• Late tuition
Unfortunately, this is becoming more prevalent. If tuition payment is two weeks late (not paid by the 20th) you will receive a text, but your dancer will be unable to class until payment is made.

• Sibling Discount/Staff Discount
There is a $10 discount for siblings or for daycare/preschool/afterschool staff.

• Student Drop Policy
Withdrawing from class must be done prior to the 1st of the month when tuition is due, or you will be responsible for that month’s tuition. To withdraw a dancer, please email Lexington@tippitoesdance.com.

• Communication
Our primary mode of communication is email. PLEASE make sure the email in the system is one you check regularly. Also, check your spam because our emails can end up there. Any changes to classes or closures (specially weather related) will be communicated that way.
We will also send texts. PLEASE make sure that you have opted in through your parent portal to receive texts.

• Dancer missing recital policy
If your dancer is participating in the recital but something happens like illness and they miss it, we will gladly refund for additional tickets purchased. However, we cannot refund the full fee due to venue rental, lights, etc.. We can refund a percentage if you return the costume.

• Opting out of recital policy
All dancers except for the Toddler & Me class will be automatically signed up for recital. Once the dance season starts, you will be receiving multiple emails about recital times and how and when to opt out if your child won’t participating. If you do not opt out before that deadline, you will be charged the recital fee.

• Class Absences
No refund will be given for missed classes, but your dancer will be able to attend a comparable studio class. If your dancer misses a class due to a school/location closing with weather or a holiday, we will do our best to schedule a makeup class.

• Viewing for Studio Classes
Toddler & Me is the only class where a loved one participates. Our studio is small and not set up for viewing. We invite new families to sit in on the first class so that you and your dancer are comfortable. But kindly ask you stay in the lobby after that. We find that dancers do better without distractions of a loved one. We also are working on independence. Something new we will implement is SNEAK PEEK WEEK where mid-season we will invite you in for the last 10 minutes of class for your dancer to show you what she or he has been working on. This is also why we have a recital to wrap up each season.
