Consent and Agreements
Every student/parent must complete a Consent Form and sign a Hold Harmless and Indemnity Agreement and Release Form.
Tuition and Payments
A $20 non-refundable membership/music fee is due at the time of registration. We occasionally offer specials for this fee! Parents pay this fee annually when registering for classes.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, regardless of attendance. A $20 late fee will be applied if tuition is not paid by the 10th of each month. (Summer tuition is due on the first day of summer camps.)
If a student registers mid-month, they may be allowed additional classes to make up for missed sessions, or a credit will be issued to your portal.
Our registration is a membership—meaning tuition is owed regardless of attendance.
Parents are responsible for scheduling make-up classes for any missed classes. Please see our receptionist or email us to schedule.
To dis-enroll from Pulse, parents must email: pulseperformers@gmail.com.
If dis-enrollment is not properly submitted, monthly tuition will continue to be charged.
If a student dis-enrolls after the 5th of the month, the full month’s tuition (plus late fees, if applicable) is still due. Students may complete the remaining classes for the month or forfeit them.
A $50 dis-enrollment fee will be charged if a student dis-enrolls during recital preparations and does not complete the session. All fees paid (including costume fees) are forfeited if a student dis-enrolls before the recital. This fee compensates our staff for choreography and administrative time lost due to early withdrawal.
Fundraiser credits must be used and will not carry over if a student dis-enrolls.
Pulse Seasons:
Season 1: August – December
Season 2: January – May
Summer Camps: June & July
Once registered, you are enrolled in both Season 1 and Season 2 unless dis-enrollment is submitted.
No refunds are provided for any fees paid to Pulse (including tuition, costumes, tickets, etc.).
Accepted payment methods: Cash, Debit, and Credit only.
Parents are responsible for paying all balances (uniforms, competition entry fees, studio fees, etc.) before a student may practice or perform.
Studio Rules
Students must arrive 10–15 minutes early to class with the proper attire, hair, shoes, and uniform.
Students who are not properly prepared may be asked to sit and observe.
Students who arrive late should enter quietly and join class without disruption.
Students may not leave class without teacher permission (for safety reasons).
Parents may not enter the studio unless granted permission by staff.
Students are expected to show respect to teachers and fellow students.
Misbehavior will result in a warning. Repeated issues may result in removal from class or the program.
Excessive talking during class is not allowed. We must stay on task to complete the lesson.
If a class is missed, it is the parent’s responsibility to schedule a make-up class.
If a student needs to leave class early, the teacher must be notified before class begins.
Parents must be on time when picking up their children. A $10 fee will be charged if a student is not picked up within 15 minutes after class ends.
In case of inclement weather, cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page and announcement board. We also send notifications via email and/or text message.
Email is our primary form of communication.
It is the parent’s responsibility to check emails regularly and stay up to date.
Emails may go to spam; please check that folder often.
We suggest “starring” our emails so you don’t miss important information.
No food, drink, or gum is allowed in the studio.
For special events or holiday parties, we check for allergies in your portal. Please ensure allergy info is always up to date.
Students may bring snacks and drinks to keep in the locker room for breaks.
Emergency Contacts
Parents must keep emergency contact information updated in the parent portal.
In an emergency, we will attempt to reach you using that information.
If no one can be reached, a Pulse staff member will contact Miss Kayla (owner) to determine the next appropriate steps.
Pulse is not responsible for any medical fees incurred.
