TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR 2026 APPLAUSE PERFORMING ARTS MEMBERSHIP

Class selection is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. All enrolled students will be
contacted in the event of a timetable change, class cancellation or if a class is chosen in the
wrong age group.

Concert Commitment
*I am aware the CONCERT DAYS are 23 MAY and 14 NOV 2026.
*I acknowledge that full-day attendance is COMPULSORY FOR ALL PERFORMING
STUDENTS on concert days.
*It is assumed all students will be performing unless notified otherwise in advance.
*I will contact the studio management directly if I have any questions or concerns, or if my child
has no intention of being a performing student.

Media and Promotion Release
*I give permission for Applause to display photos or video footage of my child taken during
dance activities and performances in Applause's brochures, flyers, newsletters, website,
Facebook page, video and other promotional material.

Health and Safety
*I understand that Applause Performing Arts may need to change its rules IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER WITHOUT NOTICE.
*In the event that we need to close face-to-face classes, our classes will continue online until
further notice.
*I give Applause permission to contact an ambulance on my behalf if it is judged that my child
requires emergency assistance.
*If possible/ should the situation allow, we will endeavour to contact you prior to making the call
via your contact number/s provided on enrolment.
*I will contact the studio management directly if I have any questions or concerns, or if my
child's contact/medical info changes.
*By entering the dance space, you accept that there may be risks inherent in attending or
participating in the events or activities held in the venue. Therefore Applause Performing Arts is
released from any responsibility or legal liability arising from attendance or participation in an
event, activity or class or the actions or negligence of other persons present.

Uniforms
*I understand the importance of wearing the full Applause uniform in every class. It is designed
for comfort and full freedom of movement. Being in uniform promotes a sense of unity and
discipline in the studio, creating a focused learning environment.
*If something happens unexpectedly, not as a habit, the fallback is the studio t-shirt with plain
black pants or shorts — no patterns, just solid colours.

Parent Commitment
*Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early to the first class of the day, as there may not be
suitable supervision. Please note for all other classes that teachers are unable to supervise
students until their class has started.
*Applause takes no responsibility for students outside of their specified class time. It is expected
that you will be at the studio to pick up your child at the conclusion of their last class.
*Please contact us prior to the end of your child's class in the event you will be late to pick up
your child for any reason.

Additional Fees That May Apply
*While our fees are all-inclusive, additional charges may apply in cases where agreed
responsibilities are not met. These include, but are not limited to:
*Late Pickup Fee: $1 per minute if your child is picked up more than 10 minutes after their last
class. This fee is applied at the discretion of studio management or owners.
*Auto-Pay Default Fee: A $5 administration fee will automatically apply to any failed auto-debit
payments.
*Class Change Fee: If you change to a different class during the term and it affects your tuition
amount, a $10 admin fee may apply.
*Outstanding Fees: If fees remain unpaid and we haven’t heard from you, your child may be
asked to sit out of class until the account is brought up to date. We understand that genuine
challenges can arise - please talk to us confidentially if you're experiencing difficulty.

Student Attendance and Participation
*Students must attend regularly to be eligible to perform.
*I understand that if my child does not attend class regularly, or does not attend the last four
lessons leading up to a performance, they may not be able to perform or may need private
lessons at $50 per hour. This will be left up to the teacher's discretion.
*I understand that parents and caregivers are kindly asked to wait outside until the completion
of each class and will be invited to special events throughout the year (unless specified as a
parent participation class).

Security Cameras
*Security cameras are installed in each studio at Applause allowing you to view
your childs lesson from the waiting area – without any distraction in the class.
*Footage is stored temporarily, without sound recording, fully in line with NSW legislation.

Enrolment and Payment Commitments
*Payment Plan Overview
*Registration fees are non-refundable.
*Enrolling in the payment plan means committing to the full year’s program.
*The plan includes 24 evenly spaced payments from 30 Jan to 18 Dec 2026
(dates listed below).
*Fees cover classes, concert prep, costuming, and media.
*The total cost is spread across the year to ease financial pressure and avoid lump sums for
costumes, videos, and photos at the busiest time of year.
*I understand that payments follow a fixed schedule and continue through school holidays and
after the concert - they are not tied to class dates.
*Withdrawal Policy (Terms 1–3)
*If you need to withdraw during Terms 1–3, please notify Applause as soon as possible.
*Four weeks’ notice is required, and all outstanding fees must be finalised, and any studio
property returned, prior to the end of Term 3. This is also applicable to auto-pay Term fees.
*No costume or performer payments will be refunded upon ending your enrolment.
*If something unexpected happens, we’ll work with you to stop payments and settle any
remaining fees.

*Term 4 Commitment
*Once a dancer begins Term 4, they’re committed to the concert and the payment plan
continues through to year-end.
*Withdrawing in Term 4 does not cancel your financial obligation - all scheduled payments
remain due.
*Even if a student stops attending after the concert, the payment schedule remains unchanged,
as the program’s value is delivered across the full year.

Conduct & Studio Values
*By enrolling with Applause, I agree that parents/guardians, students and their families and
friends show respect and consideration for one another, the staff, teachers, studio manager and
director. Applause will not tolerate any verbal, physical or written abuse, disrespect or bullying.
*I understand that the studio management reserves the right to ask students to leave the studio
for failure to adhere to the studio values, policies, terms and conditions.
*Applause reserves the right to end membership without prior warning, depending on severity.
*Any behaviour or actions carried out in Applause uniform or whilst representing Applause that
do not adhere to our values or does not represent the studio appropriately- depending on the
location and severity - may be considered in breach of our Values and Policies and will be
subject to a warning system or instant cessation of the students enrolment.
