Here are some guidelines that will make your experience so much better. They will assist with a seamless operation & keep your child comfortable and safe as they grow & develop with us.
STUDIO FEES

I do understand that registration into any child program is a commitment to a FULL TERM (3 months). The full tuition fee is charged upon registering, remaining on my account until fully paid off.
I understand that there is a registration fee of $2,500 which is charged only once per year at anytime in the year that I join the program, and this fee will become due in January of each year thereafter. This will be reflected on my account.
Late Registration: There will be a LATE ENROLLMENT FEE of $3,500, &/or LATE PAYMENT FEE of J$3,500 added to your account if student registers after the designated registration period or payment is made after deadline. There will be an additional fee of $2,000 if the student attends classes without prior enrollment. Our classes fill up quickly and we cannot afford for an incident to occur as a result of our classes being over subscribed. We take the safety and comfort of our students, as well as our instructors, seriously. Please seek guidance from First Dance where assistance is needed.
Late Pick-up Fee: $1,500 will be added to your account for late pick up. Please see late pick up policy below.
Missed classes/ Class Cancellations

First Dance Studios does offer the courtesy of reminders as often as we can, however, I do understand that my child's attendance in classes is my responsibility. Similar to other organizations, if classes are missed, if there is a public holiday or any natural disaster, there will be no refund/discount owed. Parents can feel free to schedule private classes for their child in instances where they have missed a number of sessions and have fallen behind.
The studio is dedicated to ensuring each child gets the classes/ training agreed, and will ALWAYS reschedule classes that have been cancelled by the studio for whatever reason. The make-up classes will be communicated in the designated class group chat. Please check in your respective groups or ask for a calendar so you can stay up to date with our timetable/closures etc.
Class hop: Switching class days as a means to “make up” missed sessions is prohibited. There is a limit to the capacity of each class to ensure each child gets the attention he/she needs.
Refund Policy

All registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. This fee secures your place in our classes and covers administrative costs.
Tuition fees are based on enrollment, not attendance. Once a student is enrolled, he/she has reserved a spot that could have been offered to another student.
If First Dance cancels a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, students will receive a full 100% refund of tuition and fees related to that class.
Students withdrawing one week or more BEFORE the first week of class will receive a full 100% refund of tuition fees.
Students withdrawing within the first week of class will receive a 50% refund of tuition.
No tuition fee refunds will be issued AFTER the first week of classes, except in cases of documented medical emergencies or extreme circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. I understand that if I choose to discontinue during the term, the full tuition fee remains payable on my account.
In cases of medical emergencies or other extreme situations (e.g., injury, illness, relocation), refunds or credits may be offered at the discretion of the school. A written request must be submitted along with supporting documentation (e.g., doctor's note).
Events Missed or Late Cancellation: No refunds or credits will be issued for missed Events/Recitals/Transportation Booking or Cancellations made after cut-off/deadline date.
Refund Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days and issued via the original payment method. A refund request will require a plausible reason, granted at the discretion of the studio director and the refund form will be sent for completion once granted.
Payment Due Date

Class fees and registration fees are due on or prior to the new term's start date; or on or before the 1st day of each month for studio students making part-payments towards the term fee. Students taking classes external of the First Dance studio are expected to settle the tuition fee in full. I do understand that a one (1) week grace period will be given, after which the late fee ($3,500) will be automatically applied to my account.
I understand that ALL payment receipts should be sent to billing.firstdancestudios@gmail.com to facilitate a timely update of my statement of accounts.
Automated statements are sent to email and reminders are often sent in each class group. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure First Dance Studios is provided with the correct email address and WhatsApp number for me to be kept up to date. Additionally, you can log into your class account to check your statement. Please ask for help where needed.
