This policy establishes expectations for how Rogue Dance Collective and its community are represented through social media, websites, online groups, messaging platforms, and other forms of digital communication.
1. Respectful Representation
Participants, parents, guardians, instructors, staff, contractors, volunteers, and other members of the Rogue community are expected to communicate about Rogue Dance Collective and members of its community in a respectful and responsible manner.

Rogue Dance Collective does not require members of its community to agree with every studio decision or policy. Concerns and disagreements may be expressed provided they are communicated honestly and responsibly.
3. No Unauthorized Representation of Rogue
No individual may represent themselves as an authorized spokesperson, employee, representative, or official account of Rogue Dance Collective unless expressly authorized by the studio.
Without authorization, individuals must not:
Create an account, page, group, website, or other online platform that presents itself as an official Rogue Dance Collective platform;
Announce or communicate studio policies, decisions, schedules, registrations, closures, or other official information on behalf of Rogue;
Respond to media inquiries on behalf of Rogue;
Make statements that could reasonably be understood to be official statements of Rogue Dance Collective;
Represent that they have authority to make commitments or decisions on behalf of the studio; or

4. Personal Accounts and Identification
Individuals are free to maintain their own personal social media accounts and express their own views.
However, where an individual identifies themselves as a member of Rogue Dance Collective or otherwise discusses the studio publicly, they are expected to make reasonable efforts to distinguish their personal views from official studio communications.
A person must not falsely state or imply that their personal opinion, statement, complaint, announcement, or position represents Rogue Dance Collective.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
Members of the Rogue community must respect the privacy of other dancers, parents, guardians, instructors, staff, and families.
Without appropriate authorization, individuals must not publicly distribute or post:
Private emails, texts, direct messages, or other communications;

Private information about another dancer or family;
Internal studio communications;
Private disciplinary or behavioral matters;
Confidential business information;
Screenshots of private conversations;

6. Photography, Video and Recordings
Individuals must respect the privacy of others when photographing, filming, recording, or sharing content involving Rogue Dance Collective activities.
Individuals must not knowingly record or distribute private conversations or content involving another person without appropriate authorization.
Rogue Dance Collective may establish additional rules regarding recording, photography, livestreaming, and publication of studio activities.
Official promotional photography and video may be subject to separate media consent provisions.
7. Online Groups and Parent Communities
Rogue Dance Collective recognizes that parents and dancers may create or participate in independent online groups and communities.
Such groups are not official Rogue Dance Collective communication channels unless expressly designated as such by the studio.
Participants in these groups remain responsible for their own conduct and must not use such platforms to impersonate Rogue, distribute confidential information, harass other members of the Rogue community, or knowingly spread false information about the studio or its members.
8. Studio Concerns and Disputes
Rogue Dance Collective recognizes that disagreements and concerns may arise.
Where reasonably possible, concerns regarding instructors, classes, policies, dancers, staff, billing, scheduling, or other studio matters should first be brought directly to Rogue Dance Collective so that the studio has an opportunity to review and address the concern.
Nothing in this policy prevents a person from making a good-faith complaint, seeking outside advice, contacting an appropriate authority, or exercising any legal right.
9. Correction or Removal of Content
Where Rogue Dance Collective reasonably believes that online content violates this policy, the studio may request that the individual remove, correct, or clarify the content.
Where appropriate, Rogue Dance Collective may also take other reasonable steps available to it under applicable agreements, policies, or law.
10. Consequences of a Violation
A violation of this policy may result in action appropriate to the circumstances, including:
A request to remove or correct content;
A written warning;
Restriction from studio-managed online groups or communication platforms;
Restriction or suspension of participation in certain studio activities;
Termination of enrollment or the studio relationship where permitted by applicable agreements and law; or
Other appropriate action available to Rogue Dance Collective.
The seriousness of the conduct, whether it was intentional, whether it was repeated, and whether it caused or could reasonably cause harm to an individual or to Rogue Dance Collective may be considered when determining an appropriate response.
11. Protection of Legitimate Speech and Complaints
Rogue Dance Collective does not intend this policy to prevent legitimate criticism, honest opinions, good-faith complaints, truthful statements, or legally protected activity.
Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict a person's legal rights or prevent a person from reporting suspected unlawful conduct, abuse, discrimination, harassment, safety concerns, or other matters to an appropriate authority.
12. Application to Parents and Guardians
Where a participant is a minor, the parent or legal guardian is expected to comply with this policy when communicating about Rogue Dance Collective, its staff, instructors, dancers, families, or programs.
Parents and guardians are also expected to avoid involving children in adult disputes or encouraging dancers to participate in online conflicts involving the studio or other members of the Rogue community.
