We want families to feel confident when choosing classes for their dancers. At the same time, registering for a class allows us to reserve a student's place in that class and plan our instructors, class sizes, and studio resources for the entire semester.
For this reason, registration is a commitment to the full semester of classes. Semester Tuition Families will pay for semester tuition through monthly payments. Monthly payments are installments toward the full semester tuition balance and are not a month-to-month membership. The monthly payment plan does not change the semester commitment.
Withdrawal Period
We understand that every child is different, and sometimes a student needs to experience a class before knowing whether dance is the right fit. For this reason, families may choose to withdraw their child from their registered class within 48 hours of the student's first scheduled class. If you decide that the class is not the right fit for your child, simply notify the studio within this 48-hour period and the registration will be canceled without responsibility for the remaining semester tuition. After the 48-hour withdrawal period has passed, the student's registration becomes a commitment to the full semester, and the regular withdrawal and payment policies apply.
The Withdrawal Period is intended to give families a reasonable opportunity to determine whether a class is a good fit before making a full-semester commitment. It is not intended to allow students to attend multiple classes without committing to the semester.
Withdrawal After Withdrawal Period
After the first-class trial period, families may still notify the studio if they need to withdraw their child. Because we reserve a student's place for the semester based on enrollment, we are unable to offer full refunds, credits, or reductions in tuition for early withdrawal outside of the withdrawal period except in circumstances specifically approved by the studio.
Mid-Semester Registration
Students who enroll after the semester has begun will be responsible for tuition beginning with the month of enrollment. Tuition may be prorated when appropriate based on the student's enrollment date.
Missed Classes & Absences
Tuition is based on enrollment in a class and the space reserved for the student, not on the number of classes attended. There are no tuition discounts, credits, refunds, or reductions for missed classes or absences, including absences due to illness, vacations, school activities, family commitments, or other circumstances. If your child is unable to attend a class, please notify the studio when possible. When space and scheduling allow, the studio may offer a make-up class as a courtesy. Make-up classes are not guaranteed and do not result in a tuition credit.
Studio Cancellations
If the studio must cancel a scheduled class, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a make-up class or another appropriate resolution.
Payment Responsibilities
Families are responsible for keeping their account current according to the payment schedule selected at registration. Monthly tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month. A $50 late fee will be charged to any account with an unpaid balance after the 3rd of the month.
By completing registration, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to the studio's payment policies, including the full-semester tuition commitment following the first-class trial period. If you have questions about tuition or payment options, please contact the studio before completing registration.
