STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT & SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Magnolia Aerial & Wellness prioritizes safety, respect, focus, and shared responsibility. These expectations apply to students, parents and guardians, siblings, guests, and observers.
ARRIVAL & ATTENDANCE
* Arrive at least five minutes before class and be ready for warm-up.
* Report absences through Magnolia’s portal at least two hours before class. Late reports and no-shows are not eligible for makeups.
* Notify Magnolia if a student will be late. Missing warm-up may make participation unsafe, and the instructor may require the student to modify or observe. Late arrival does not automatically qualify for a makeup.
* Wait in the designated area before class. Do not enter the instructional area or use mats or apparatuses without permission.
COME PREPARED
* Wear fitted athletic or dance clothing that stays securely in place. Clothing may not include jeans, zippers, buckles, Velcro, metal accents, loose parts, or materials that may snag equipment.
* Secure long hair, remove jewelry, and cover or remove body jewelry that may catch.
* Nails must allow the student to safely close the hand into a fist and may not present a scratching, puncture, or snagging risk.
* Do not apply lotion, body oils, or other slippery products on class days.
* Bring a closed water bottle. Gum is not permitted during training.
* Tell the instructor about pain, dizziness, injury, illness, or restrictions before participating.
A student who is not safely dressed or prepared may be required to modify, observe, or sit out.
CLASS SAFETY
* Follow instructor directions immediately.
* Use apparatuses and mats only with permission and supervision.
* During demonstrations, all students must be completely off the apparatuses and mats.
* When sharing an apparatus, students must take turns. The waiting student must remain off the mat.
* Attempt only approved skills, heights, entrances, and exits.
* Do not jump from apparatuses, teach or spot other students, move equipment, or practice unsupervised.
* Running is not permitted inside the studio.
* Report damaged or unusual equipment immediately.
RESPECTFUL CONDUCT
Students must remain attentive, treat others respectfully, keep their hands and belongings to themselves, and avoid disrupting instruction. Bullying, harassment, threats, fighting, deliberate humiliation, unsafe behavior, body or ability comparisons, and property damage are not permitted.
Phones and personal devices must remain stored and silenced unless an instructor approves their use. Students should clean up their belongings and assist with equipment only when directed.
OBSERVERS & GUESTS
Observers must remain in designated areas, keep noise down, avoid coaching or distracting students, and supervise accompanying children. Instructor permission is required before taking photographs or recording. Flash photography and recording or posting other people without permission are prohibited.
INSTRUCTOR AUTHORITY & CONSEQUENCES
For safety, an instructor may modify or stop a skill, lower a student’s height, change equipment, require observation, or end participation for the day.
Failure to follow these expectations may result in a warning, removal from class, restricted observation, suspension, changed placement, or termination of enrollment. A safety- or conduct-related sit-out does not automatically qualify for a makeup, credit, or refund.
Families may be responsible for the actual repair or replacement cost of damage caused by intentional behavior or clearly careless disregard of studio rules.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By signing, I confirm that I have reviewed these expectations and agree to follow them. If signing for a minor, I agree to help the student understand and follow these rules and accept responsibility for accompanying siblings and guests.
I acknowledge that I have been provided access to Magnolia’s current Studio Guide & Membership Policies at magnoliaaerialwellness.com and agree to follow all applicable policies contained in that guide. This acknowledgment is a summary and does not replace the full Studio Guide, Membership Agreement, Liability Waiver, media choice, or other registration documents. The most recently published policies and signed agreements control the subjects they specifically address.
