TUITION PAYMENTS
Tuition is based on the full dance season, September 8, 2026 – June 5, 2027, and divided into equal monthly payments. Holidays, studio closures, and calendar variations have already been factored into monthly tuition rates. Tuition reserves a dancer's place in class and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Tuition and fees are automatically processed via credit card on the 1st of each month, beginning September 1, 2026. There are no credit card processing fees. Enrollment continues throughout the season unless a Class Drop/Transfer Request Form is submitted.
Families who prefer to pay by cash or check should contact the studio via email to make alternate payment arrangements.
Recital Costume Fees will be automatically added to the November 1 tuition payment, and Recital Fees will be automatically added to the May 1 tuition payment.
The annual registration fee is $42 per dancer and is charged once per school-year season. Registration fees must be paid through the parent portal and are payable by credit card only.
ATTENDANCE & MAKE-UP CLASSES
Consistent attendance is important for each dancer's growth, confidence, and technical development. Tuition is not refunded or credited for missed classes. Students may make up missed classes in a comparable class at their age and skill level, subject to availability. Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy, are not guaranteed, and must be scheduled in advance through the studio.
LATE FEES & DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. A $20 late fee will be applied to any invoice that remains unpaid 15 days after the due date. An additional $20 late fee will be assessed every 30 days thereafter until the account balance is paid in full. A $20 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
Accounts that remain unpaid for more than 45 days may result in a dancer being unable to attend classes, rehearsals, performances, or participate in studio activities until the outstanding balance is paid or satisfactory payment arrangements have been made.
MID-SEASON ENROLLMENT
Students who enroll after the start of the season will be charged prorated tuition based on their enrollment date. Ongoing monthly tuition payments will begin on the 1st of the following month. Recital eligibility for students enrolling after January 2027 will be determined based on choreography preparation and costume deadlines.
CLASS WITHDRAWALS & TRANSFERS
Requests to withdraw from or transfer a class must be submitted through a Class Drop/Transfer Request Form by the 15th of the month. Changes will take effect the following month, and future auto-payments will be discontinued. Once a monthly tuition payment has been processed, no refunds or credits will be issued for the remainder of that month.
STUDIO CLOSURES
If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, facility issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, SDA will make every effort to provide a make-up class, alternative learning opportunity, or comparable online content.
Should circumstances require the studio to temporarily suspend in-person instruction, classes may transition to a virtual format through live online classes and/or recorded instructional content. Tuition will not be refunded or credited for interruptions caused by weather, government mandates, public health events, or other circumstances beyond the studio's control.
PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
Registration may be completed by a parent or legal guardian for students under 18 years of age.

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Saldarelli Dance Arts, LLC and its representatives to obtain emergency medical treatment for myself or my child if I cannot be reached. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical expenses.
2027 RECITAL POLICIES
The annual recital will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2027, at Barrington High School. Families should reserve the week leading up to the recital for stage rehearsals and recital-related events.
Participation in the recital is optional; however, all dancers are encouraged to participate as a celebration of their hard work and progress throughout the season.
Dancers participating in the recital are required to attend all scheduled stage rehearsals and remain through the finale of their assigned performance.
