Class Withdrawal & AutoPay Cancellation Policy

Prestige Arts requires **written notice** to withdraw a student from any class or program.

To withdraw from classes, a **Class Withdrawal Form** must be completed. Forms are available at the front desk or may be requested by emailing the studio.

* A minimum of **10 days' written notice** is required prior to the next scheduled AutoPay date.
* Withdrawal requests are processed at the **end of the current month**.
* Tuition and fees remain the responsibility of the account holder until the withdrawal form has been received and processed.
* Simply not attending classes, notifying an instructor, or verbally informing staff **does not constitute withdrawal**.
* AutoPay will remain active until the withdrawal has been processed. If a withdrawal form is submitted fewer than 10 days before the next AutoPay date, the upcoming payment may still be processed, and the withdrawal will become effective at the end of that billing period.
* Any outstanding balances must be paid in full before an account can be closed.

By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this withdrawal policy.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy

The safety of our dancers is a top priority at Prestige Arts. We ask that all families help us provide a safe environment by following these drop-off and pick-up procedures.

Arrival

* Dancers should arrive **no more than 10–15 minutes before** their scheduled class unless otherwise instructed.
* Parents of younger dancers are encouraged to escort their child into the building and ensure they have safely entered before leaving.

Pick-Up

* Dancers should be picked up promptly at the conclusion of their last class.
* Prestige Arts is not responsible for supervising students before their scheduled class begins or after their final class has ended.

Between Classes

If your dancer has a break between classes and remains at the studio, please understand that **Prestige Arts staff members are not responsible for supervising or monitoring students during that time.**

While dancers are welcome to remain in the lobby or designated waiting areas between classes, they are expected to behave respectfully, follow all studio rules, and remain inside the building unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Parents are responsible for determining whether their child is mature enough to remain at the studio unsupervised between classes. If your dancer requires supervision, a parent or guardian must remain at the studio during the break.

Leaving the Studio

For the safety of all students:

* Dancers should not leave the building during breaks between classes unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
* Prestige Arts is not responsible for students who leave the premises before or after class.

By enrolling at Prestige Arts, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy.

Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in dance classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, camps, workshops, and other activities at Prestige Arts involves physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury. While Prestige Arts takes reasonable precautions to provide a safe environment, accidents and injuries may still occur.

By enrolling my child (or myself) in classes or activities at Prestige Arts, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in dance and related activities, including but not limited to falls, collisions, sprains, strains, fractures, illness, or other injuries that may occur during classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, or while on studio premises.

Release of Liability

I release, waive, and discharge Prestige Arts, its owners, directors, instructors, staff members, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, or causes of action arising from participation in studio activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct as permitted by applicable law.

Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Prestige Arts staff to obtain emergency medical care for my child (or myself) if I cannot be reached immediately. I understand that every reasonable effort will be made to contact the parent or emergency contact before medical treatment is obtained whenever possible.

I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of injury or illness during participation in studio activities.

Health Acknowledgment

I certify that my child (or I) is physically able to participate in dance activities and will notify the studio of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect participation.

Personal Property

Prestige Arts is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to the studio or any off-site event.

Agreement

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge that I have carefully read and understand this Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk Agreement. I voluntarily agree to its terms and understand that it remains in effect for all participation at Prestige Arts unless revoked or replaced in writing.

Privacy Policy

Prestige Arts is committed to protecting the privacy of our students and families. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard the information you provide when registering for classes or using our parent portal.

Information We Collect

When you register with Prestige Arts, we may collect information including:

* Parent/guardian and student names
* Mailing address
* Email address
* Phone numbers
* Emergency contact information
* Date of birth
* Payment information
* Medical information or allergies you choose to provide
* Class enrollment and attendance information

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

* Process class registrations and payments
* Communicate important studio announcements and schedule updates
* Contact you regarding your account or your dancer
* Respond to questions or requests
* Maintain studio records and provide customer service
* Improve our programs and services

Payment Information

Payment information is securely processed through our third-party payment processor. Prestige Arts does not store complete credit card or bank account information on our local systems.

Information Sharing

Prestige Arts values your privacy. We do **not** sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share information only when necessary to:

* Process payments
* Comply with legal obligations
* Protect the rights, safety, or property of Prestige Arts, our students, or others

Communications

By enrolling at Prestige Arts, you consent to receive emails, text messages, and other communications regarding classes, studio events, billing, weather closures, performances, and important announcements.

Photos & Videos

The collection and use of photos and videos are governed by our separate Photo & Video Release Policy.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the personal information you provide. While no electronic system is completely secure, we work with reputable service providers and use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

Changes to This Policy

Prestige Arts reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. The most current version will be available through the parent portal and/or our website.

By registering with Prestige Arts, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.

Tuition & Payment Policy

At Prestige Arts, tuition is based on **annual enrollment** and is divided into **equal monthly payments** for your convenience. Your monthly tuition reserves your dancer's place in class throughout the season.

**Tuition is based on enrollment, not the number of classes held in a particular month.** Some months may include holidays, scheduled studio closures, or a different number of class meetings due to the calendar. Because tuition is averaged over the entire dance season, **monthly tuition remains the same each month** and is not prorated based on the number of classes offered.

Monthly Tuition

* Tuition is due on the **1st of each month**.
* **AutoPay is required** for all monthly tuition accounts.
* Tuition will be automatically charged to the payment method on file on the **1st of each month**.
* If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, payments may be processed on the next business day.

Payment Methods & Processing Fees

* **Credit Card Payments:** A **3% processing fee** will be added to each transaction.
* **ACH/Bank Account Payments:** A **1% processing fee** will be added to each transaction.

Late Payments

* Payments not successfully received by the **4th of the month** will be assessed a **$50 late fee**.
* Payments not successfully received by the **8th of the month** will be assessed an **additional $25 late fee.**
* If payment is not received by week 3, dancer may be asked to sit & observed in class.
* Any outstanding balance must be paid promptly to avoid additional collection efforts or restrictions on participation.

Failed or Declined Payments

If an AutoPay transaction is declined for any reason, it is the account holder's responsibility to update the payment method immediately. Any applicable late fees will still apply if payment is not received by the due date.

Missed Classes

Tuition is not prorated, refunded, or credited for:

* Missed classes
* Vacations
* Illness
* School activities
* Holidays and scheduled studio closures
* Weather-related closures

When available, dancers are encouraged to attend a make-up class for missed classes.

Withdrawals

Tuition will continue to be charged until a completed **Class Withdrawal Form** has been submitted and processed according to the Prestige Arts Withdrawal Policy. Simply discontinuing attendance or notifying an instructor does not constitute withdrawal.

Outstanding Balances

Prestige Arts reserves the right to:

* Withhold costumes, recital materials, competition packets, awards, or other studio items until the account is current.
* Restrict participation in performances, competitions, special events, or recital until all financial obligations have been met.
* Pursue collection of unpaid balances when necessary.

By enrolling at Prestige Arts, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Tuition & Payment Policy.

Weather & Studio Closure Policy

At Prestige Arts, the safety of our dancers, families, and staff is always our top priority. If we need to close the studio due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, please know that every decision is made with the safety and well-being of our families in mind.

Studio closure notifications will be communicated through our normal communication channels, including email, the parent portal, and social media when applicable.

Please note:

* **Refunds or account credits are not issued for classes missed due to weather-related or emergency studio closures.**
* Our goal is to provide a make-up class whenever reasonably possible; however, make-up classes are not guaranteed.
* Scheduled studio closures for holidays and breaks are published on our studio calendar and website. These closures are built into our annual schedule and are not eligible for refunds, credits, or make-up classes.
