You must be over 18 to register for an account.

A withdrawal form must be completed and turned in to our office 2 weeks prior to the intended withdrawal to terminate further tuition and fee obligations for the dance season.

** The Primary Contact is responsible for tuition payments and late fees until a Withdrawal Form is turned in to Avalon Dance either by hand or email, regardless of attendance. **All costume fees are non-refundable. There is a $35 withdrawal fee. The $35 withdrawal fee will be charged immediately after the withdrawal form is received.

Please note that all medical contacts must be given at time of registration. We have the right to call 911 if we feel it is needed. All contacts will be called in the event of any emergency. Note that Avalon Dance LLC. Is not held liable for any injuries on or off the dance floor, during dance class or any performances.

Studio Emergencies: In the event of an emergency requiring evacuation of our facility, we have designated the back parking lot as our gathering point. Teachers and staff will lead students to the lot and stay with them until you or emergency officials arrive.

Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month and is considered delinquent if not paid by the 5th of each month. Each account MUST be set up to auto pay. Only Visa or MasterCard are accepted. A $35 late fee will be charged for each month a payment is delinquent after the 5th of the month. If the account is still delinquent on the 10th of the month. The child will be withdrawn from the program, and the account will be sent to collections. Monthly tuition is based on 9 equal payments (September-May)( summer session is from June-August) Tuition will be withdrawn on the 1st of each month. Tuition is not reduced for missed lessons. Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of breaks, holidays, length of the month, rain days, or student sickness. Make up classes are an option and can be scheduled in your parent portal. Tuition payments must be made by a parent or an adult.

**Classes/ accounts can be placed on hold due to illness or medical emergencies. There is a $35 hold fee per month and the account can be held for up to 3 months. After the 3 month hold period the student will need to either continue with classes ( and pay monthly tuition) or withdrawal and re-register for the program at a later time.

Holiday Show:

HOLIDAY Recital fee of $95.00 is due October 15th. This fee will be AUTODRAFTED .. The HOLIDAY recital fee includes the T-shirt and all theater/performance fees... The SPRING Recital fee of $265.00 is due January 15th. This fee will be AUTODRAFTED. The SPRING Recital fee includes Costume , T-shirt- recital video link and Theater Fees. Recitals are mandatory for all students and classes, unless otherwise noted. There are NO recital Refunds or credits. The HOLIDAY recital will be held on December 11th. The SPRING recital is scheduled for the end of the dance season, typically the last weekend of May or first weekend of June. Both shows include Dance and Tumbling classes.

RECITAL :

1.When is The Costume Payment Due? Costume payments are due January 15th. The costume payment will be automatically debited the card we have on file. You may pay by cash, or by Square but a $10 processing fee will apply

2.Why is The Costume Payment Due So Early? There are thousands of dance studios and only 15 major costume companies to order form. To better serve you it is our goal to have ALL costumes here to be handed out during Costume Handout Week between March and April. The costume companies do not necessarily have in-stock costumes and will not start making costumes until they have been ordered. Any costumes payed for AFTER January 15th are not guaranteed to be in before handout week or picture week. Our picture week is usually help during the first week of May.

3.What Do I Get For My Costume Fee? When you pay your costume fee you receive a costume, all accessories (headpieces, gloves, etc.) A garment bag, A recital T- shirt, A trophy and a recital video link. An Avalon Dance staff member measures each dancer. Our studio director chooses the costume size based off of costume company sizing chart. You are responsible for the shoes and tights needed for each particular recital dance as well as any alterations that are needed.

4.What If I Change Classes After I Have Payed For My Costume? If you change classes after you have payed for your costume you may have to purchase another costume to reflect the new class. Once costumes are ordered we cannot refund, exchange or return them.

5.Can I Get A Refund Or Credit If I Decide Not To Do Recital And I’ve Already Payed For My Costume? Once costumes are ordered, costume fees are non-refundable and no credits are given. After recital you can pick up your child’s costume. Costumes are available for pick up until 90 days after recital and then they become the property of Avalon Dance.

6.How Do Recital Tickets Work? Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 9:00am April 1st. There will be a ticket purchase link on our website ( www.avalondance.net ). You can view a seating chart online and choose your seats. All guest must purchase a ticket in order to see the show except for “lap babies” (2 & under).There is no limit to the amount of tickets you can purchase.

7. Do Dancers Have To Purchase Tickets? Avalon Dance does not require dancers to purchase tickets. THEY ARE THE SHOW. We do offer a dressing room for the dancers to stay in during the recital with live video feed of the recital.

8.Why Do You Charge For Tickets and Is There A Recital Fee? Ticket sales are to cover the administrative costs, organizing and preparing for the show, tech crew, facilitators , ushers, insurance, renting of the auditorium, professional sound and lighting equipment, backdrops, props, theater staff, custodians etc.

9.Why Can’t I Video The Show Or Take Photos During The Show? For the safety of our dancers, we do not allow any flash photography at any of our shows or dress rehearsals. We want to make sure that each person in the audience has a good view of the stage and their dancers. Many of us now have fancier cameras that are noisy and is very distracting, tripods and anxious parents standing in the auditorium to take video/photos of their children disrupts the show and ruins the viewing experience for others around them. We have a photographer and videographer at each show, The link of the show will be emailed out 2-4 weeks after the show. The Recital Video already included in your package, so just sit back and enjoy the show!
