NACHDI JAWANI GORE – TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Medical Information
It is the responsibility of parents/guardians or participants to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or health concerns to management at the time of registration.
2. Behaviour & Facility Responsibility
By registering, I/we agree to follow all academy rules and facility regulations. I/we accept responsibility for our own behaviour and the behaviour of our child(ren), including any damages caused to the facility or equipment used by Nachdi Jawani Gore.
3. Risk Acknowledgement
I/we acknowledge that participation in dance classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and related activities may involve risk of personal injury. Despite safety precautions, accidents may occur.
4. Participation Responsibilities
By registering, I/we understand and agree to follow all academy responsibilities, rules, and expectations.
5. Assumption of Risk
I/we assume all risks associated with participation in any programs, activities, rehearsals, performances, competitions, or events organized by Nachdi Jawani Gore.
6. Release of Liability
I/we agree to release and hold harmless Nachdi Jawani Gore, including instructors, dancers, staff members, volunteers, and facility providers from any claims, demands, injuries, losses, damages, or causes of action now and in the future.
7. Personal Injury & Property Damage
I/we will not hold Nachdi Jawani Gore responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property before, during, or after participation.
8. Media Consent
I/we authorize Nachdi Jawani Gore to photograph and/or record students and families for use on:
Website
Social media pages
Brochures
Promotional materials
No identifying information will be published without permission.
Communication
Any schedule changes, class cancellations, or updates will be communicated through email and the NJ Student Account.
The academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes when necessary.
Note: It is the responsibility of parents/students to regularly check emails and student accounts for updates.
Annual Academy Closure
The academy will remain closed during:
Long weekends
Inter-Academy Competitions
Malton Nagar Kirtan
These closures do not affect monthly membership fees.
Membership
A non-refundable one-time registration fee of $20 per person is required upon registration.
Registration fees apply to all new students and returning students following previous cancellation.
Fees are subject to change.
Payments will be automatically withdrawn from the account on the 1st day of every month.
Any NSF payment will result in a $30 fee.
A 4-week written notice, submitted in person along with a signed cancellation form, is required for membership cancellation.
The studio shall have no liability to refund fees after they have been collected and remitted according to the intended purpose of collection.
Payment Authorization & Refund Policy
All fees paid to Nachdi Jawani Gore are strictly non-refundable, including but not limited to registration fees, membership fees, class fees, competition fees, costume fees, workshop fees, team fees, performance fees, and any other academy-related charges.
By signing this agreement, I/we authorize Nachdi Jawani Gore to charge and collect all monthly fees, outstanding balances, applicable charges, and unpaid amounts using the payment method or card kept on file.
I/we understand and agree that Nachdi Jawani Gore may process all due payments from the card on file for memberships, classes, competitions, costumes, performances, academy activities, and all outstanding balances.
Parents/guardians and participants are responsible for maintaining valid payment information at all times.
Failed payments due to insufficient funds, expired cards, or invalid payment information may result in additional fees, suspension of classes, or cancellation of membership.
No refunds, credits, transfers, or reimbursements will be provided for missed classes, withdrawals, unused sessions, vacations, academy closures, competitions, costumes, workshops, performances, or any academy-related activities unless approved by management.
Membership Fees
Bhangra Classes
1.5 Hour Class (Once per Week): $80 + HST per month
1 Hour Class (Once per Week): $70 + HST per month
Dhol Class (Once per Week): $100 + HST per month
Attendance Policy
Weekly attendance is mandatory.
A valid reason is required for missing classes.
Team members must receive management approval for vacations.
Approved vacations will still be charged at 50% of monthly fees.
Upon returning from vacation, students must contact the academy to confirm schedules and updates.
No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes.
Rules & Regulations
Arrive 5 minutes prior to class start time.
Videography during classes is not permitted.
Parents must not interrupt ongoing classes. Concerns or questions should be discussed with management.
All shoes must be placed on the shoe rack.
Plastic water bottles are not permitted. Please bring reusable water bottles.
Students must show respect toward instructors and peers at all times.
Inappropriate behavior may result in termination of membership.
Do not bring valuables or large amounts of money to the studio. Nachdi Jawani Gore is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Team Members Only
Weekly video uploads are mandatory.
A $20 competition fee applies for each Inter-Academy competition.
All team members must maintain a valid dress contract.
Parent / Guardian Agreement
By signing below, I/we confirm that I/we have read, understood, and agreed to all terms, conditions, payment policies, refund policies, and academy regulations outlined above.
