At Relevé Movement Company, we are committed to fostering a positive, respectful, and encouraging environment where every dancer can grow with confidence. Enrollment at Relevé signifies agreement to uphold the standards outlined below.
Dancer Expectations
All dancers are expected to:
* Treat instructors, staff, fellow dancers, volunteers, and families with kindness and respect.
* Demonstrate good sportsmanship, integrity, and professionalism in class, rehearsals, performances, competitions, conventions, and all studio-related events.
* Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to participate.
* Follow instructor directions and studio policies.
* Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone.
The following behaviors are not acceptable:
* Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or exclusion of others.
* Disrespectful, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct.
* Profanity, abusive language, or threatening behavior.
* Damage to studio property or the property of others.
* Conduct that negatively impacts the learning environment or the well-being of other dancers
Parent & Family Expectations
Relevé believes a positive studio culture begins with partnership between families and staff.
Parents and family members agree to:
* Treat instructors, staff, dancers, volunteers, judges, and other families with courtesy and respect.
* Support a positive atmosphere both inside and outside the studio, including at competitions, performances, rehearsals, and on social media.
* Address questions or concerns directly with studio leadership in a respectful and constructive manner.
* Refrain from gossip, harassment, bullying, or behavior that creates conflict within the studio community.
* Respect studio policies, faculty decisions, and placement decisions.
Social Media & Public Conduct
Families and dancers are expected to represent Relevé Movement Company in a respectful manner.
Negative, defamatory, harassing, or intentionally harmful comments, posts, or online behavior directed toward the studio, its staff, dancers, or families may be considered a violation of this agreement.
Studio's Right to Refuse or Terminate Enrollment
Relevé Movement Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny enrollment or discontinue a dancer's participation when the behavior of a dancer, parent, guardian, or family member is determined to be detrimental to the studio community or inconsistent with the values of Relevé.
Depending on the circumstances, concerns may be addressed through discussion, written warning, probation, temporary suspension, or immediate dismissal. Serious misconduct may result in immediate termination without prior warning.
Examples of conduct that may result in termination include, but are not limited to:
* Repeated disrespect toward staff or other families.
* Bullying, harassment, or intimidation.
* Threatening or abusive behavior.
* Persistent disruption of the studio environment.
* Actions that damage the reputation, operations, or community of the studio.
* Failure to comply with studio policies after reasonable notice.
Termination of enrollment does not relieve the account holder of any outstanding financial obligations incurred prior to the effective date of dismissal. Registration fees, tuition already charged, membership fees, costume fees, competition fees, and other previously incurred charges remain non-refundable in accordance with studio policies.

Our goal is not simply to train excellent dancers, but to cultivate respectful, humble, hardworking young people. By enrolling at Relevé Movement Company, dancers and families acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to uphold this Code of Conduct as a condition of participation.
