Policies & Waiver
Payment Policy
A valid credit/debit card or ACH account is required to be kept on file for all accounts.
Tuition is automatically processed on the 1st of each month. Payments not received by the 10th of the month will incur a $15.00 late fee.
If a payment method is declined, an additional $5.00 declined payment fee may be assessed. It is the parent’s responsibility to keep payment information current.
No registration is considered complete until payment has been received.
Cash payments may be made in person at the studio.
⸻
Tuition
Monthly tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. Tuition remains the same regardless of absences, holidays, or studio closures.
Students enrolling after the start of the month will receive prorated tuition for their first month only.
⸻
Make-Up Classes
Students may make up missed classes before the end of the current dance season.
• A maximum of four (4) make-up classes may be scheduled.
• Parents must notify the studio prior to the missed class.
• Make-up classes must be approved by the studio and are based on class availability.
• Students may not attend a class without prior approval.
⸻
Costume Fees & Recital Participation
Costume fees are non-refundable once costumes have been ordered.
Students must be registered by February 1st to participate in the annual recital.
Regular attendance is expected. Excessive absences may result in a dancer being unable to participate in recital at the discretion of Dancers Turnout Academy.
Attendance at dress rehearsal is mandatory for all recital participants.
Shoes, tights, and required accessories are not included in costume fees unless otherwise stated.
Some ballet classes may require an additional ballet costume and accessory fee.
Each dancer participating in the annual recital is required to pay the applicable recital fee. Recital fees and ticket information will be communicated to families prior to recital.
Additional recital tickets will be available for purchase once ticket sales open.
⸻
Christmas Showcase
Dancers Turnout Academy may host a Christmas performance during the holiday season.
Participation requirements, costume information, and ticket pricing will be announced prior to the event.
⸻

Parents are responsible for ensuring their dancer is picked up promptly before and after class.
⸻
Communication
Parents are responsible for keeping their contact information current and for staying informed of studio announcements, emails, text messages, Studio Pro notifications, calendars, and important deadlines.
⸻
Holidays

• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Break (1 week)
• Christmas Break (2 weeks)
• Easter Break (1 week)
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day (4th of July)
Monthly tuition remains the same during these scheduled closures, as tuition is based on the entire dance season rather than the number of classes held each month.
⸻
Injury & Medical Release

By enrolling, I acknowledge these risks and voluntarily assume responsibility for any injury sustained while participating in classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, camps, workshops, or any activity sponsored by Dancers Turnout Academy.

⸻
Withdrawals & Refunds

Withdrawals are effective on the date they are submitted and are not retroactive. Refunds or credits will not be issued for failure to officially withdraw a student.
Tuition, registration fees, costume fees, recital fees, competition fees (if applicable), and any other fees already paid are non-refundable.
Dancers Turnout Academy reserves the right to refuse service or dismiss any student whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or violates studio policies.
⸻
Assumption of Financial Responsibility
By enrolling my dancer, I acknowledge that I am financially responsible for all tuition, registration fees, costume fees, recital fees, competition fees (if applicable), and any other charges incurred on my account.
