1. Agreement
By submitting an enrolment form for Ellenbrook Ballet Academy (EBA), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. This agreement takes effect immediately upon submission of the enrolment form.
2. Enrolment & Ongoing Membership
- Enrolment at EBA is presumed to be ongoing for the full calendar year.
- Enrolments will automatically continue from term to term unless written notice of withdrawal is received in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
- Formal withdrawal must be submitted in writing via email to:

Verbal, text or informal notifications are not accepted.
3. Fees, Billing & Payment
- Tuition fees are charged per term and are based on enrolment in a weekly class.
- Term fees remain consistent across the year and do not vary based on the number of teaching weeks in a term.
- The full term fee is payable once a term has commenced, regardless of attendance.
- Upfront payment per term is the standard payment method.
- Payment plans may be approved by request only and are available for term invoices over $300.
- All fees must be paid within 7 days of the student’s first class, unless a payment plan has been approved.
- Failure to make payment by the due date may result in suspension of enrolment.
- In the event of unpaid or overdue fees, EBA reserves the right to engage a Debt Collection Agency. Any costs incurred, including collection or administration fees, will be the responsibility of the account holder.
4. Annual Enrolment Fee
- An Annual Enrolment Fee of $55 per student is payable upon enrolment each calendar year.
This fee contributes to:
- Student insurance coverage
- Administrative and enrolment processing costs
- The Annual Enrolment Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
5. Withdrawal & Refunds
- Withdrawal must be submitted in writing by email.
- Withdrawal applies from the end of the current term and does not cancel fees already invoiced or due for that term.
Refunds are not provided for:
- Withdrawal after a term has commenced
- Missed classes due to illness, holidays, or personal scheduling conflicts
Change of mind
- Fees are charged for enrolment in a class, not attendance at individual lessons.
6. Missed Classes & Cancellations
- Missed classes are not refundable or transferable.
- If a class is cancelled by EBA, a make-up class may be offered where possible.
- Make-up classes are not guaranteed and cannot be credited, transferred, or used as a fee reduction.
7. Class Placement & Changes
- Class placement is determined by age, experience, and training suitability.
EBA reserves the right to:
- Recommend appropriate class levels or training loads
- Adjust placements where required to support student development, safety, or class balance
- Class changes are not automatic and must be approved by EBA.
8. Uniform & Grooming
- EBA has a compulsory uniform for all students Level Bronze and above.
- Ballet classes: hair must be worn in a neat bun
- Other styles: hair must be secured in a slick ponytail
- No loose jewellery permitted
9. Child Collection & Supervision
- Parents/guardians are responsible for collecting students immediately after class.
- EBA does not provide supervision in the waiting area before or after classes.
10. Physical Contact
Parents acknowledge that appropriate physical contact may be required to assist with:
- Technique and alignment
- Demonstration of exercises
- First aid or injury support
All physical contact is professional and appropriate at all times.

Teachers are not to be contacted directly via personal channels.
12. First Aid & Medical Emergencies
In the event of illness or injury, EBA staff are authorised to administer first aid and/or contact emergency services. Any associated costs are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
13. Specialist Equipment Levy (Silks & Acro)
Students enrolled in Silks and/or Acro classes are required to pay a $25 per term equipment levy.
This levy contributes to equipment maintenance, safety inspections, and compliance requirements and is non-refundable once the term has commenced.
14. Suspension or Cancellation of Enrolment
EBA reserves the right to suspend or cancel enrolment where:
- Fees remain unpaid
- These Terms & Conditions are breached
- A student or parent fails to comply with reasonable directions issued by staff
- Behaviour compromises the safety, wellbeing, or positive culture of the Academy
- In EBA’s discretion, continued enrolment is no longer appropriate
15. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and any applicable Commonwealth legislation.
