By completing registration and/or submitting payment, I acknowledge and agree to the following on behalf of myself and/or my child:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in performing arts activities (including singing, dancing, acting, movement, and rehearsal-based training) involves physical activity and carries inherent risk. I voluntarily assume all such risks.
Health & Medical: I confirm that my child is physically and medically able to participate and will inform Matariki Performing Arts of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or allergies. In an emergency, I authorise staff to seek medical treatment if required.
Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, I release Matariki Performing Arts, its staff, contractors, volunteers, and venue partners from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where required by law.
Behaviour & Safety: I understand that participation is conditional on safe, respectful behaviour. Matariki Performing Arts reserves the right to limit or withdraw participation if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.
Photography & Media: I acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken during classes, rehearsals, and performances for promotional and documentation purposes (including website and social media). No names will be used without consent. I will notify Matariki Performing Arts in writing if I do not consent.
Fees & Refund Policy: I understand that all registration fees, tuition fees, and payments are non-refundable, including in cases of absence, withdrawal, or change of mind.
Other Waivers & Policies
Programme Changes: I acknowledge that class times, venues, tutors, or programme content may change if required due to unforeseen circumstances. Matariki Performing Arts will communicate any significant changes as early as possible.
Code of Conduct: I understand that students and families are expected to act respectfully toward staff, other students, and venues. Repeated or serious breaches of conduct may result in removal from the programme without refund.
By submitting payment, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver and no-refund policy on behalf of myself and/or my child.
