PURE DANCE CENTER
STUDIO POLICIES & PROCEDURES
At Pure Dance Center, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and professional environment
where dancers can grow artistically, technically, and personally. By enrolling at Pure Dance Center,
families agree to adhere to the following policies and procedures.
1. Respect & Conduct
Pure Dance Center is a family-centered, supportive, and inclusive environment. All dancers, parents,
and guardians are considered representatives of Pure Dance Center and are expected to uphold the
studio’s values both inside and outside the studio.
We believe in good sportsmanship, fair play, encouragement, and mutual respect. Dancers and
families are expected to support one another and celebrate individual growth, opportunities, and
achievements.
Gossip, negativity, triangulation, bullying, intimidation, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be
tolerated, including behavior related to casting decisions, choreography, solos, group placement,
competition roles, or performance opportunities.
Pure Dance Center is a safe space for all dancers. We embrace individuality, differences, and
uniqueness, and we do not tolerate bullying, exclusion, or hostile behavior for any reason.
Concerns must be addressed by scheduling an appointment directly with the studio owner or front
office manager. Concerns may not be discussed with other parents, dancers, or third parties.
Horseplay, roughhousing, and unsafe behavior are strictly prohibited.
Failure to adhere to this policy may result in verbal or written warnings and may lead to removal of
solos, groups, competition teams, suspension, or dismissal without refund.
2. Attendance & Punctuality
Dancers must arrive on time and prepared. Dancers arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be
permitted to join class. Regular attendance is expected.
3. Dress Code & Studio Rules
Only approved dance attire is permitted. For class-specific uniforms and requirements, please refer to
www.puredancecenter.com.
4. Payments & Accounts
All families must keep a valid card on file. Tuition is auto-debited monthly. A 3% transaction surcharge
applies to offset payment processing fees. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. Make-Up Classes
Make-up classes must be completed within the same calendar month and are offered as a courtesy,
not a guarantee.
6. Studio Etiquette
Parents may not interrupt classes. Waiting areas must remain respectful. Climbing, standing on, or
misusing chairs or furniture is prohibited. Photography or video recording is not permitted without
approval.
7. Safety & Liability
Pure Dance Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items. A signed waiver is required for
participation.
8. Creative Authority, Artistic Direction & Media Release
All artistic decisions are made solely by the studio. Families grant permission for use of dancer likeness
in photos and videos for promotional purposes unless revoked in writing.
