We are so excited to welcome you to the Kika Academy Family! Our goal is to provide a fun, safe and supportive environment for all of our students and families. To help with all of this we ask parents and students to show respect to our studio, other students, parents and teachers.
By enrolling to Kika Academy, you agree to these terms and conditions. We do not condone competitive, negative or toxic behavior, gossip or unkind comments, behavior that makes another child or family feel unsafe or unwelcome. We believe that children thrive when they are surrounded by positive role models and supportive community. If a situation arises where these values are not upheld, Kika Academy reserves the right to remove a student and the parent/guardian from the program to protect the well being of our community.

At Kika Academy we run with the Victorian school terms, all fees are due upfront and must be paid no later than the week before each term begins, unless a direct debit payment plan has been arranged. A $25 late fee will apply to any invoices not paid by the due date stated on your invoice. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes or for holidays taken during the school term. Make up classes may be offered if space is available ONLY if your child has a medical procedure emergency, but they are not guaranteed. If you wish to cancel your enrolment , 4 weeks written notice must be provided via email to admin@kikastudios.com.au

Filming or photography is only allowed during special "watch weeks" or when permission is given by staff. Every parent/guardian will sign a media consent form upon enrolment. Every teacher/admin staff hold Working with Children checks are are all qualified in First Aid and CPR. In the unlikely event of an accident or injury please note that the staff will do the best they can to help and prevent any situation/injury, we are not to be held liable.

End of year showcase is a highlight of the year and a beautiful way for dancers to showcase their progress. A full production with costumes, lighting and an audience of family and friends. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory. There will be costume fees and rehearsal schedules given closer to the time. MEDIA, FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY
Filming or photography is only permitted during designated “Watch Weeks” or with express permission from staff.
All parents/guardians are required to sign a Media Consent Form upon enrolment.
All Kika Academy teachers and admin staff hold Working With Children Checks and are First Aid and CPR certified.
In the unlikely event of an accident or injury, please note that while our staff will always act promptly and responsibly to assist, Kika Academy cannot be held liable for any injury sustained during classes or events.

PARENT VIEWING & PARTICIPATION POLICY
At Kika Academy, we love having parents involved in their child’s dance journey - especially in the early years.
To ensure our classes remain positive, structured, and supportive learning environments, please note the following guidelines:

KIKA BUBBAS (ages 1–2)
Parents and caregivers are required to actively assist their child throughout the class.
These sessions are designed as shared experiences to help little ones build confidence and connection through movement.

KIKA MINIS (ages 3–4)
Parents are welcome to sit in the class to observe and support their child as they grow in independence.
Please remain seated, quiet, and respectful during class time to minimise distractions.

ALL OTHER AGE GROUPS (ages 5 and above)
Parents are asked to wait in the designated waiting area at the back of the studio.
Please keep noise levels low and avoid entering or interrupting classes.
If a parent’s presence becomes disruptive or distracting, Kika Academy reserves the right to kindly ask them to step out.
Our goal is to create a warm, empowering, and inclusive environment for every child while maintaining the best possible experience for all students.

END OF YEAR SHOWCASE
Our annual End of Year Showcase is one of the highlights of the year — a full production with costumes, lighting, and an audience of family and friends.
It’s a beautiful opportunity for dancers to celebrate their progress and confidence on stage.
Participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
Costume fees and rehearsal schedules will be provided closer to the event date.

CANCELLATIONS
All class cancellations must be made via the website or Kika App.
Please note that cancellation requests sent via email, SMS, or social media will not be accepted.
